Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I also murdered Sims on The Sims. The smell of burning pixels and the screams of terror were a delight to 8 year old me.

ಠ_ಠI played Mobile Forces before I was 10. Damn, killing people with shotguns and grenades and knives and trucks was awesome. I miss Mobile Forces.
... I think I played it since I was 7 but I'm not certain. Memories Are Meant to Fade Away, I guess.
... Wonder if there's a Memory-related trope?
= begins searching for such a trope = = finds several =
I was hoping there was one with a similar title, but oh well
(This post will probably reveal the truth.)I've decided another obvious thing...popularity does not determine skill. Unpopular things can be just as good as the popular things.
But popularity is good at earning money, which can raise skill. Or the appearance of skill.
Just about everyone tortures sims.
Who watches the watchmen?I only did sometimes. In The Sims 2 in the tutorial I tried to find every way to kill em.
I must've had some of the graphics off, they didn't show any of the special ghost effects. Like smoking if they died by fire or giving off shocks if they died by electrocution.
never played Sims
I liked shipping sims.

I've got a Sim body count in the hundreds. I managed a body count of 22 in one sitting once.
ಠ_ಠFinished First Men In The Moon today,
Pretty damn awesome.
Kind of wish I could see the Selenites for myself.
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."Eva made Che sick. Like this:
"Woman, why are you giving me medicine?" I watched her walk into the room and put a bottle down on the bedside table. I recognized it from her handbag.
She didn't even flinch. "Because my baby is sick. You don't look well." she cooed. "Look, you're so pale and thin, and your eyes are glassy. But Mommy will take care of you." She bent down to fluff up my pillows. "Take this medicine." She poured out some onto a spoon. "Open your mouth. It'll put you to sleep."
The road goes ever on. -TolkienI really like Plants vs Zombies. I enjoyed the demo so I went ahead and bought the full version.
Modern phone apps can be quite interesting. I was pretty impressed by this one's quality and, while it's rather easy to play (as I expected, since it's for casual phone users), it still managed to be pretty fun and complex.
These 4G phones are much better than the older phones I used up to now, which have very limited options and don't let you customize basic things that should be natural.
there are zombies on your laaawn
All fear Pocky the terrible. The Angry Goddess who demands sweeties and entertainment or you shall face her wrath.
Better then Tuefel the grumpy god of war who thinks artillery barrages for annoying him are appropriate punishment.
What other crazy deities could we have.
Who watches the watchmen?Evita literally made Che sick.

Bad moon? Or perhaps Bad Wolf...or even Bad Horse.
"And every life is a special story of its own." —The Stargazer, Mass Effect 3Nah no bad moon just bad weather. We have a blizzard.

Who watches the watchmen? We are just having relatively horrible cold. You know, horrible for our definition, not the rest of the world's.
Hi Rigo, I sent you a Facebook message!
The road goes ever on. -TolkienRigo: Man you would be shocked to the see the blizzard blowing by the front doors of my work place.
Who watches the watchmen?Seeing snow would probably break my mind. I dread to think what a blizzard would do to me.
Quick! I need a name for a teenage everygirl.
