Mental images of the tropers.

I mostly see people as their avatars, so it gets pretty disconcerting for me when someone changes theirs to something completely different. Jethro and AOD are among the few tropers I actually envision according to what they look like in their photos though, so it's not as confusing when they switch.

Fast Eddie and Jinxed Blackcat are the others.

I've always pictured Pentadragon as a woman, but apparently he's not.

I think I've started to picture Matrix as Trekkie Monster◊ given the tendency for threads to get sidetracked about porn when he is around.

AOD I get the image of Kamina in a labcoat. I have no idea why, but it is awesome.

Most of the time I just default to images of them from the photos thread or their avatars.

I'm boring. I just see the avatars.

Not gonna lie, either. I'm just curious what people think I look like, since apparently not everyone does the avatar thing.

^ You look like someone who says "Bully!" a lot as a curt dismissal.

And AOD looks like he's about to tear my throat out.

I think Some Guy looks like his avatar. Well, since I don't know who his avatar is, I think he looks like Johannes Brahms. Perhaps with less of a potbelly, though.

Desertopa: I think I abstract away a "character concept" based on people's avatars, which enables me to compare hand-drawings to sock puppets to animé characters to abstract shapes.

Furthermore, AOD's avatar is now a wolf. Wolfs being carnivores, they represented a danger for rural societies. Of course, to get rid of an animal that is better suited for combat, as a wolf, a gun ,not unlike the one the character from your avatar is carrying, comes really handy.
