I don't think Yuri's problem was the transhumanism. It was that she was deliberately cutting herself off from other living beings, and that was true before her first transplant. I think this will turn out fine.

Also, I like that Joyce has no interest in cosmetic surgery. Just replacements to make herself stronger and more durable. She’s practical.

Anesu continues to be the best.

I wondered before about the brig locking from the inside? Turns out that's a plot point.

Huh... guess it's worth noting that Anesu wasn't present when Hwan and Joyce came to.

Also, Anesu probably gets really far on being underestimated. I'm now wondering if she's already figured out security protocols on the ship, or she's just figured out who to ask to subvert them.

I'm amused to note that Veff did not mention the murder of most of his crew when running down just what Nogg and crew did to him. Guess we see just how much regard Veff has for his underlings. Also, I kind of wonder if they have new recruits... and whether word has gotten around as to what happened last time Veff went after Nogg's crew.
