I don't think Yuri's problem was the transhumanism. It was that she was deliberately cutting herself off from other living beings, and that was true before her first transplant. I think this will turn out fine.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. Also, I like that Joyce has no interest in cosmetic surgery. Just replacements to make herself stronger and more durable. She’s practical.
Anesu continues to be the best.
I wondered before about the brig locking from the inside? Turns out that's a plot point.
Huh... guess it's worth noting that Anesu wasn't present when Hwan and Joyce came to.
Also, Anesu probably gets really far on being underestimated. I'm now wondering if she's already figured out security protocols on the ship, or she's just figured out who to ask to subvert them.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.NO TRASHING BIKKIE'S PLACE (in both senses of the term)
Also, to quote one of the comic comments:
addendum LXIV
when the giant marsupial is moody, worry. when the giant marsupial is cordial, run.
when Joyce is making demands, worry. when Joyce is smiling and offers a handshake, run.
when Anesu flicks her uber-gun thingy, worry. when Anesu looks innocent, run.
I can't wait to see how Hwan makes Nogg miserable.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Honestly, given the precise words used, I blame Nogg. Which, admittedly, is a pretty SOP in this comic.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. Also, silly Mauricio
Maurico, Yuri specifically warned you about that. What An Idiot.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Yeah, that's Dimitri's and Red-9's kid, alright. Also, remember Devyat talking about having "a good and loyal friend"? I feel like Devyat and Maurico need each other, platonically.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. This would be one of those times when absolute brilliance and absolute stupidity are very hard to tell apart.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. You know, it just occured to me that a large part of the galaxy seems to consist of morons, jerks or moronic jerks.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.So... just like Earth?
I'm amused to note that Veff did not mention the murder of most of his crew when running down just what Nogg and crew did to him. Guess we see just how much regard Veff has for his underlings. Also, I kind of wonder if they have new recruits... and whether word has gotten around as to what happened last time Veff went after Nogg's crew.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. The plot thickens.
So, arms dealers have been selling weapons to various sides in the conflict? Considering this comic, I suspect something bigger is going on.
Split the party! I foresee absolutely no downside to this plan of action!
I mean, I see no downside for Krep - he's not in the Nogg party.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Do you really want to be hiding when Bikke has gotten only a warm-up?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.tl;dr our heroes are not impressed
Well, I know what I'm thinking from this setup - what is Anesu going to steal this time?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
And now we have this generation's transhuman. Here's hoping she handles her power better than Yuri did.
