I got voted off yesterday for playing the game when half the server was having a dance party. The kicker is that I didn't disturb the chucklefucks dancing and the vote was started by a spy I killed for the fifth time.

I like dance parties. I like to join any of the congalikes people do for a few seconds at the start of a round, then try to get to the final point/end of the payload line.
...I won that way once.
@Ninety
there's actually a console command for adding close damage numbers together if that's what you're looking what for.
hud_combattext_batching 1
admittedly, it's more useful for pyros and heavies but if you're playing a class like soldier you don't really need to know as much anyway unless you're plinking away at someone with rockets at long range or something.
EDIT: you can also adjust the batching window for up to 2 seconds by using hud_combattext_batching_window

Yeah, I looked up how to do it yesterday. Thanks, though.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Goddamn if this game's community as a whole doesn't suck then I've been having the shittiest luck in running into the worst of the lot for the last month.
Nobody fucking votekicks anybody. You set a vote to kick afk? Never passes because the other team doesn't want someone who would actually play to join your team. Happens all the time. Worst of all was in my last game when there was a hacker. Dude was running several hacks, my entire team was all but screaming for like 10 minutes for the enemy team to set up a vote, but they did fuck all. Took till the round ended and the teams got shuffled before I could set up a vote. Not gonna lie, I was legit surprised that the kick did pass.
Please tell me I've just been having the worst luck in pubs, cuz this is COD levels of BS.
#IceBearForPresidentCan't you only kick people on your own team?
You should find a non-pub sever and stick to it. I play in the same server as iKonaKona and the people there are awesome.
Though I swear to god we seem to attract Plat Snipers.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?^^ Yes. It's why I had to kick the guy after I got put on the same team.

#IceBearForPresidentI wish I could do that, but my ping says nah bro.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I have an Idle server, critvsandvich that Mr. Paladin plays on, and a Turbine server that I play on.
I am the once and future king.I was playing Doublecross and so it happens that neither team bothered to build sentries on the intelligence room. So I took the Soda Popper, ran under the bridge and through the sewers, and used the multi jump to get up the pit that goes down from the courtyard next to the intelligence. This left me with just enough hype to grab the intelligence, jump over the pit that separates the room from the ramparts, jump down to the bridge, and run back to capture the intelligence. Then I did it again.
Of course, then I get autobalanced. Score is 0-2. I then proceed to do this three more times, and all the while nobody wrapped their heads around the concept of sentries. So at the end, the score was 3-2, and all five caps were by me using the exact same method.
(Then I was carrying as engie on Borneo and my internet died :/ )

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Not bad, cool technique I'll have to try.
It would be weird traveling to the past and explaining to an old TF2 player what the Soda Popper is now.
I don't know whether they planned that our or it was all improvised, but it's hilarious either way.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I like how there was a spy there the entire time and none of them questioned it.
His disguise is too good. He has become one with the Sandvich Heavy.
3 months old, but still some of the most badass Spy play ever. I don't think you could do this with the nerfed Dead Ringer.

I always thought that Double-Cross could modded into an End of the Line themed map - the setting style would be a cross between the RED and BLU mountain outposts seen in the short film, while the train mechanic from Well would be applied onto Double-Cross' railroad bridge. Upon the second to last flag needed to win being captured, an animation will play in which a bomb-towing train will detonate and destroy the midsection of the road bridge. The focus of the battle will thus change as the opposing teams are forced to use the intact railroad bridge as the main avenue of traffic, although the more mobile classes (scouts, soldiers, pyros, demomen) can still jump over the destroyed midsection.
I like Doublecross quite a bit. It's pretty much the only balanced CTF map in the game.

Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...CTF sucks.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.True dat.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Fun for goofing off in though.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Doublecross feels balanced until an Engie puts their sentry in the middle of the bridge... Then it's Turbine all over again.
Playing Engie as an offensive class rather then a defensive one changes up map dynamics a lot.
But you can target a bridge sentry from the main entrance to each base, the balcony, and from the bottom bridge as a Demo.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I think he meant to describe those engineer that manage to Wrangler onto the rooftop above the sniper deck - those are nigh indestructible.
Do you ever go on such a rampage that by the end of it you are literally begging someone on the other team to nut up and kill you?
Because I survived an entire round on Suijin as a demoknight last night. And killed 23 people. THERE CAN BE OOOOONLY OOOOOOOOONE..! (eye)
Whee. First time I ever had someone try to vote me off a server for a decent reason. They failed, but still.
(Suijin, placing a tele exit behind the reeds near spawn)
