As far as I know (I never played the game), it's more or less a horse race simulator, except that the horses are horse girls.
Are there any horse boys?
Secret SignatureIf countries can be mostly male along with cities, trains, etc. I don't see why not.
Being girls just happens more often. I'd kill for a monsterboy anime because vampires suuuuuuuuuck.
Scum's Wish is actually shockingly tame considering it's subject matter.
I just found out that Fist of the North Star is set in 2010. Which means that this story about a post-apocalyptic future is now a story about a post-apocalyptic past.
Evangelion was also set in 2015.
Let's not forget all those Megaman games that take place in the year 200X.
Mighty No. 9 has them all beat; it takes place in the current year.
Metal Gear Rising takes sometime next year.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."This is beyond ridiculous, they should not be working in those conditions.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."I recall an article like this popping up a year or so ago and thinking I'd be fine just having a few anime shows per season. I mean that's all I'm able to watch per season anyway.
I'd be fine with a fifth of what we're getting if it means better working conditions for these chaps.
I know. ;_; Of course less anime would make the producer committees upset because THEY won't be earning as much.
Been watching Stand Alone Complex.
All the jargon makes it a bit hard to follow what's going on sometimes to the point I feel like I should have gotten a primer for a lot of this stuff, but the Laughing Man plot is still plenty interesting.
And of course the anime is still an audiovisual tour de force.
So, how do we "break" those mule-headed committees without screwing over the animators any more than they are in the process?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Some cool stuff: 64 old anime short films now with English subs. Celebrating 100 years of anime or something.
Sentai is putting a ton of their new acquired anime exclusively behind a second paywall on Anime Strike, and fans are not happy.
Kind of makes sense when you consider Crunchyroll and Funimation getting into bed together. It was only inevitable that other Anime Distributors would respond by throwing their lots in with other streaming services. note
As annoying as it is, Anime Strike isn't Amazon's first "premium channel" so that too isn't too surprising given how expensive licensing fees can get. I'm still waiting to see how Amazon builds their backlog before I consider subscribing.

I mean, they're just doing the same things Funimation, and Crunchyroll, are doing. But the difference is, you gotta use TWO paywalls with Amazon instead of one- one for the basic Amazon Prime account, and an additional extra one for their anime.

So it's like how with Hulu you have to pay extra to get Showtime? That does suck.
A year-long Amazon sub: $99. Without the anime.
Like, explanation of why they exist? I doubt there is one
