I imagine Togashi's operating off sympathy and residual goodwill. Remember that the guy's taking all these breaks because he's unwell as fuck. Miura, on the other hand? No excuse.
What's precedent ever done for us?Miura is probably taking the breaks to stave off burnout. It's not an ideal situation but that's an entirely different thing from the ridiculous accusations some pile at the guy.
Watching Cross Ange. It's basically like Valkyrie Drive but shittier.
For best results just mentally replace every instance of the word "Norma" with "Normie"
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo.Watched Space Patrol Luluco and it was fucking amazing. I regret ever dropping it because of the innuendo-rich gun. Trigger at its finest since Kill La Kill, certainly.
On another note, I'll also watch Your Name when it premiers in my local theatre (7th of Dec). I have high expectations for Shinkai this time since the film went and became the sixth most grossing animated film of all time in Japan.
Luluco is pretty much Trigger parodying Trigger. I loved every episode.
Suehiro Kenichiro (Re Zero) did the music as well. I might give it a watch when I have the time.
Watch SymphogearInori Minase (Rem of Re Zero and Hestia from Danmachi) had to cancel some events due to a death threat...from a fan in Taiwan.
So I just watched Me!Me!Me!. I can admire how they take sexy bishoujo imagery and make it horrifying, and the song is coordinated well with the visuals, but the rest of its supposed message about hikkikomori and escapism seems absent (unless there's a different version). The boy leaves this girl at the start... but she's drawn in the same style as 2-D girl. The boy is assaulted by his apparent dream girl, but only for a few seconds near the end. Most of the video is just seizure-inducing flashing effects.
It`s not the first time that I think Gainax want to say something but it doesn't come through naturally in the art.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Didn't the guy behind that short say himself that there wasn't any message in it?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."&The thing is that she was supposed to have a live performance in Taiwan next week, but that was cancelled due to said death threat.
Why the death threat is being made? According to what I read in the news, she did not reply his message. I'm starting to worry if this incident will irreversibly cloud the perception of the entire voice acting industry towards overseas fans....

As far as I know, no such thing has happened with any Western fans yet. Not even from the alt-right. Plus it's not like Japanese fans are any better in this regard. As long as they recognize that, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I have my own reasons to worry. In March this year, a rabid fan actually climbed up a fence while Yanagi Nagi was performing on stage, startling her. (Forgot which event, but it happened in Malaysia.)
The Asian fanbase could be ignored in favour of Western fan base out of fearing these incidents happening to them.
And it turned out that said threat has caused events in Japan to be cancelled as well. This is getting very disturbing....

AFAIK, most Japanese VAs don't get events in Western venues, or at least not American ones.
I doubt they'll "ignore" any region in favor of another one, because like I said, this has been happening in Japan for years because it started happening in other parts of Asia.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."The organizers are just over-reacting. The threat is along the lines of "I'll send ten snipers after you" from a teenager with mental issues, which is improbable to be carried out. If it was something like "I will stab you", then it should be taken seriously because it's something that can be done by an insane person.

Going back to what said earlier about shonen heroes always 'winning' , why do the rival characters such Seto Kaiba, Vegeta and Sasuke Uchiha always 'lose'? Why do these rival characters get shown by the heroes?
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Nothing? ...the Adult Swim Message Boards had to finally shut down after rumored alt-right supporters invaded the place and wouldn't leave.
Were they calling for the heads of VAs that turned down/ignored requests to suck their dicks, though?

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Not that I saw, but I wouldnt put it past them to do that. Keep in mind I quit going there a full 10 months prior to the shut down.
Am I the only one who still reads Hayate the Combat Butler? Because it feels like I'm the only one on the internet who still does.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I'm reading it. Seems like it'll be ending soon. It has its own thread though.
Dropped it a while ago. I think I stopped following Hayate around the point Hayate asked Hinagiku to move into Nagi's house.
I was reading it, but when it started to apparently go into endgame mode I decided to put it on hold and come archive binge it once it was done.
But it's been like forever since then so I'm not really sure what to do anymore
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo.Angelic Aliens has been launched recently, and I'm interested in knowing if there are examples of the trope in anime and manga, given the surprising lack of such examples in the article itself.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Really? Damn. And I was hoping for more plot and fanservice.
