The art? The art's one of the main minuses for me, actually. Feels too stiff, and I'm usually not very picky.

When the best part of the series is based on the fact that the main couple has no chemistry there are problems.
Unless you count Their blood being connected to an Eldritch Abomination then there's some literal Chemistry.
Meh, doesn't seem all that stiff to me. Gantz is much more so, but that's justified due to using a 3-D digital art program.

Watch SymphogearRosario To Vampire...well, plot wise it is nothing stellar. However, I do like how the series focus on how having decisive main couple affects other girls in negative ways.
Oh, and it has some of the best arts I have ever seen. Obviously this is subjective.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Finished Cardcaptor Sakura!
Watched the first season of Birdy The Mighty Decode while I did that, so I started the second half of the show today.
A rather popular hentai mangaka* has released a one-shot in Jump NEXT as the artist half of a duo. It's called Shokugeki no Soma. It was apparently quite well-received.
This also confirms his name as Saeki Shun (if anyone cares, for some reason).
...well, I'm impressed.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Some people have too much time on their hands.
Aya in PPG style is ADORABLE.
Re-posting this here for everyone who isn't in the Nisekoi thread.

So I decided to embark on journey to expand my horizons and... read some Shojo manga. I will later report my experiences from this strange new world from perspective of someone who is manga reader for over a decade but never really touched the "girly stuff".
Wish me luck.
I've only read Cardcaptor Sakura and Tonari No Kaibutsu Kun in that dempographic, but I haven't regretted it at all.
I've only read Magic Knight Rayearth, but that was mostly giant robots and explosions so not sure how fair view it gave me.
Ah.
Shojo was a natural extension for me, since I mainly like romance-based plots anyway.
Thank you for drawing my attention to Nisekoi, which until now I have never heard of it. The premise alone makes me want to read it, and suspect that I will require some displaced-ribs rearrangement at some point during that.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Be warned, it is Cliché Storm personified. But, as I said on my blog, it's good genericness.
So AKB 0048, pretty hardcore for an idol anime.
The second episode:
First half: Let's be cute! I'm stowing away on the ship! Basic rival introduction!
Second half: Did the ship just get hijacked by anti-Idol forces and the did the rival just murder one of said anti-Idol forces?
Infinity...Nieskoi is all around awesome. I really recommend it.
I think the manga is pretty cool.
I like it more than most other Unwanted Harem series out there.
