Not to mention they are So Bad, It's Good.
Non Indicative UsernameIs there any reason in-universe why bikes cost so much?
The Protomen enhanced my life.Assuming that pokédollars are indeed equivalent to yen, one million of them only comes out to about $10000, which is easily within the price range of a fancy top-of-the-line bicycle in real life.

Trans rights are human rights.Pokédollars are Japanese Yen. Yen is like.... 100 to every 1 USD. Though that just means Bikes are almost as much as a nice car in Pokémon
Keep in mind that these bikes are able to ride smoothly over even rough terrain while also being light enough to fold up and carry around in your backpack.

Trans rights are human rights.Your magic backpack that fits everything you need. Are we sure it isn't a back-mounted TARDIS?
Umm... so, personally... this is the first time this has happened, so I'm a bit surprised. Only a centimetre away...They managed to make Pokeballs
I'm sure a bag that's bigger on the inside wouldn't be too difficult in comparison.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeLittle late but I too liked generation 4. I started with Platinum so I guess there's some Nostalgia Filter but there were a lot of cool things; the lore, underground, Cynthia. The HM use was, having played more games since, definitely bad. It was the first game I actually played so the idea of a remake feels weird but I guess they could make one for the next handheld, maybe along with generation 8 or 9.
If the NX is anything is rumored to be what I think it is, I'd love to see Gen IV remakes on it.
Watch SymphogearGen 4 remakes would be great, sign me up for the group for them. Along with Gen 1 and 2 remakes.
I really don't want more remakes of games they've already remade. What's the point in that? If you really want a new game in an older region, give it a new plot and some new features instead of just taking FRLG/HGSS and adding current gen stuff in 3D.
But D/P aren't remakes....
In any case, I don't think we'll see them until the series moves onto another handheld system. The general pattern for remakes is to release them when the previous versions are no longer compatible with the current ones.
Since D/D/Pt are still sorta compatible with Gen VI (indirectly through Gen V, but eh) I don't think its gonna be in Gen VII.
So what do you guys want them to "fix" in a remake anyway that you guys didn't like?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Arceus being something more than a handout in a Cherish Ball. Fuck handouts in Cherish Balls. And fuck ridiculous catch rates.
If there was something that Gen I did quite well, is that a Pokemon with a catch rate of 3, if it was asleep and with 1% health remaining, had a 20% chance of being caught in an Ultra Ball. Nowadays, it takes 30 turns for Timer Balls to reach a 9% chance under the same conditions, and Dusk Balls in their habitat only go up to 7.5%. However, that is FAR better than getting a Pokemon in the Pokemon Center, within a Cherish Ball, and with PROMO 2016 as its original trainer.
It is a shame they went that route, after Darkrai and Shaymin were so well done.
Shat I hate is that there are entire species you can never nickname for yourself.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Well, Farfetch'd, Lickitung, Jynx and Mr.Mime started out as that.
But yeah, the "younger players wouldn't get it" excuse for neutering content is grating as fuck. Remember that it has been used to justify the lack of both a Battle Frontier and the Hall of Origin.
Give me POSTGAME SIDEQUESTS for the legendaries. Not Soaring to find them in places that appear if you fullfit some arbitrary criteria, but actual sidequests. Give me sidequests with that event trinket distributed over the internet or with Spot Pass (Fire Emblem Awakening did that, and the content was locked until a certain date, and free afterwards), rather than a guy to give me exposition on a Pokemon Center if I have something in a Cherish Ball in my party.
Oh, and random people teaching legendary signature moves and giving form-changing items? Again, sidequests for fuck's sake.
Agreed, more story for the Legendaries is always good.
Yeah that's one of the many items on my Sun and Moon wishlist.
I mean, do sorta-kinda dig how Hoopa's implicitly to blame for the arbitrary nature of most of the bonus Legendaries in ORAS, at least...?
But yeah, actual reasons for things would be preferred.

I sure said that!Or things like, say, you have Ho-Oh and the legendary dogs, and by going to a certain place you can get Ho-Oh teach any of them Sacred Fire (well, primarl Entei, but yeah). Instead of having Entei learn Ho-Oh's signature move at level 1 and have otherwise the same level up moves as in HGSS.
Honedge's line knowing Sacred Sword makes a smidge of sense, but Entei being handed the signature of another legendary was farfetched. Pretty those things up, please. And add Flare Blitz to its level up learnset.
(And, what is jarring, is that Sacred Fire gets the pass to get another user, but Volt Tackle remains excusive, to the point Wild Charge is a thing just because of Volt Tackle).
Anyway, got inspired with the whole legendary OCD bout, and whiped◊ those◊ up.

it's because pika is special protag pokemon, while ho-oh is really old news
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeAlright, I might go back to nuzlocke my White 2 to get a different opinion of it. I wonder what I'll be in for,
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.More fire types and a smaller reliance on TMs are the only 'fixes' I think DP needs for a remake. Maybe add some new features like they did for previous remakes but aside from that I'd prefer if they kept it mostly the same. Some tweaks here and there are fine but no massive changes like ORAS did.

To each their own I guess, but the above is exactly why I hope we don't have any more remakes at all. Even ORAS's "massive changes" still amounted to the same game I beat over a decade ago, and they're going to want to appease people who liked those old titles.
I just don't see the point in wanting to play the exact same game with better graphics.
Or the wrong way. Or the best way!
