League of Legends

I don't really like playing adc, but I guess it's not so bad if all I have to do is afk waveclear, attack the closest thing and sometimes press R to order my team to go ham.

My first experience in playing a 270 ping game! It wasn't so bad—OHMYGODBOTMORDEBLITZARESOBUGFUCKINGSCARY!— I still kited them even as a Support Sona and even double killed them... I even got a Dominating streak from that. Still, damn it, Morde is now scary even without the Ghost Dragon, just as long as he got the right support, like Blitz...

The result though... VICTORY.

Not bad! This whole ping addition I mean.

So, my ping is now at 90 instead of the usual 30 or so I had before. Then, in a game last night, it just jumped up too over 999 for no reason. I still can't figure out what happened. Felt awful since all my friends were upset. : /

Tried a game for... first time in a while, actually.

Ping is doing well. I, however, got my shit kicked in as Jana. I did alright - the Caitlyn ADC and I dominated lane for a fair while, but the Yasuo Mid top got really fed off our midlaner and Jungler, and at about 10 minutes started roaming. combined with a well-off Shaco and Riven, and that was pretty much the end of the game. Surrender at 20, 5 votes for, etc.

Nnnnnot a triumphant return. Oh well, it happens. At least I was doing alright.

Man, skarner is fucking scary. especially with a first time jinx who keeps wasting her ults, and a sej who can't keep the jungle safe. Very frustrating game.

Ranked play is suffering.

Most of the time, for me.

Sometimes, for the other team.

Summoner's Rift is so obnoxious right now. For like 3 matches now I've had to deal with a near invincible, omnipresent and high-DPS split push jungles.

I get it, Udyr is supposed to be good at that kind of stuff. But JFC, when it gets to the point I literally can't do anything without losing an objective SOMEWHERE, this shit gets old really fast.

I'm thinking about trying this game out either tonight or tomorrow. And I'm curious on what to expect.

I somehow won lane against a Garen with teemo, they even did a lane swap with karma to escape from me. Additionally, it seems a Teemo that gets ahead suddenly must contend with the entire enemy team rushing them at every opportunity.

Depends who you ask. The population at large would have you believe that the game is insufferably toxic and depressing. I for my part have a mainly positive experience in it. The sooner you learn to not take defeat/poor performances personally, the better off you'll be. That, and using the "mute" option liberally might spare you a bitter experience.

Getting all-in'd and dying is all Teemo deserves.

That was a bug? I assumed that whenever Rengar one-shots you, it was intended.

Rengar could activate Ravenous Hydra and his W mid-air and kill whoever he's jumping on instantaneously.

That is not intended

Has Riot taken action on that? I surmise that Rengar would be disabled temporarily till they solve that.

He's been able to do that for quite a while now though. Not that it really matters when his damage stays the same.

Also, here's a cool thought:

With the release of PROJECT: OVERRIDE if we take the skin lines seriously, Riot has basically created a number of canon AUs for the fans to play with, or, depending on how wacky they want to go with chronomancy, different timelines. Or hell, maybe even just one timeline at different points. It really does give a more expansive notion of what "Legends" can mean in their universe(s).

Iirc, the Steel Legion, Augmented, Battlecast, Full Metal and Mecha skin lines are all from the same AU.

I get a lot of Eclipse Phase Vibes from the project skins, and I love the Steel Legion AU. I wonder if the Steel Legion and Omega Squad timelines are the same.

Yeah Got PROJECT: Yasuo and Yi. And Damn Yi's death animation is scary. His armor disintegrates revealing some serious Bodyhorror. For starters His arms are all artificial and his upper chest is still organic.

Uh, and a side note. it's the first time you actually get to see his eyes.

It's been over a year since the skin came out, and PROJECT: Yasuo's back animation is still bugged.

I'd like to share something from a rather old game of mine that I always remembered. It's premise is simple, I'm using Shen and I have a Zilean ally.

Then I just properly used Stand United to protect Zilean from certain death and kill his attacker. He hasn't used Chronoshift and I wasn't facing Vel'koz, but MAN. That was one time I was grinning with glee because I just basically re-enacted "Can't Killean The Zilean". Had to exclaim that "I wish I could do the MAP AWARENESS dance.", and the Zilean just lols.

God, that kind of event doesn't happen often enough.
