So, to sum up: Riot has to take Gangplank out due to bugs, and they decide for the hell of it to give an in-story reason for him being out. Everyone else flips shit, thinking Riot's actually going to just remove a champion from the game for reasons.
Does that cover everything? Want to be sure I understand before I Face Palm through my eyes.

More like Jaredan on Reddit is insisting it was all lore reasons all along. I don't think they went 'shit GP has bugs, quick lets write all this shit up to disable him!'
Yeah, I think the bugs being discovered around the time of his death is coincidental.
Wraithplank is coming.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.@Watchtower, HazzyHaz: Yeah, that pretty much covers it.
Not enough, but yes I do.
Though the sig is also referencing the fact that Soviet players in World of Tanks also have that issue

Excuse me, do you play Company Of Heroes 2? Your signature made me suspect that.
I'm starting to see a trend with all of my games.
4-0 win lane as Miss Fortune. Having a great game. Midgame, it becomes clear that the other lanes fed and I can't do crap anymore.
Just last game, I got over half the teams kills, upgraded my Minions entirely (except for the defense tree, but they were offensive minions so not as important), and soloed Dragon 4 times. We still lost.
I... I think I somehow got dragged into ELO Hell...
Your first problem is playing Miss Fortune
Sorry to hear that thought my man(?)
Yeah.
Any suggestions for getting out of here?
In all honesty though, I'm being serious. MF is not a hard carry ADC.
In other news:
If Riot isn't just having some mean-spirited trolling at the player's expense and has seriously permanently disabled Gangplank, that's actually grounds for a lawsuit.
ESPECIALLY if you purchased the bundle for him, as that's denial of a service you paid money for. Yes, it's a free game, but that pack is about $25, say about 80% of the playerbase (21.6 million) purchased that bundle.
That is $540,000,000 that Riot basically stole from the playerbase. And since Riot is a US company, they'd lose that suit.
Rule #1 of writing Character Death: No body? Not dead. Rule 2: Make sure said character is dead. ESPECIALLY if it's offscreen.
Gangplank isn't dead at all.

I'm pretty sure the next update is gonna just be GP getting resurrected or some shit....
Or he could stay dead and make some excuse about how he's playable.
That's the reason MF told her goons to find the body. In all likelihood he used his last bit of strength to eat an orange and thus is k.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Uh guys?

Tentacleplank. I calling it.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Til I can safely pick Sion into Trynd and actually have kill potential on him before 6.
That Yi actually decided to camp my lane despite me telling him to focus bot and mid was a nice bonus.
The Great Northern Threadkill.I gave a try to the Rite of Ruins item in Black Market, and it's actually surprisingly strong. You've never seen a turret melt until you've seen Viktor 4-shot one by himself.
Welp, look at the picture for Act 4 of Burning Tides.
I can assume only one thing:
This is the skin that Riot said would come, but never told us who it's for.
Pick up the phone, because I fucking called it!
It's funny, Riot teased a skin for the Bilgewater event, and wouldn't announce who it was for.
Turns out, it was actually for Gangplank, and the new skin was staring us in the face the whole time.

And it's not a skin! It's the new base Gankplank. And those who play him get the current splash as a skin.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Did anyone really doubt that Gangplank would come back tho?

Well seeing as how Riot's done some sketchy shit in the past regarding champions, yeah, I potentially doubted it.
See: Pool Party Mundo and Cassiopeia's rework.
PP Mundo was supposed to be a free skin for everyone if players got the final event in the Pool Part event. Riot never really informed the players what was needed to get points for the event. As such, we only just got into the 3rd part of 6.
And Cassiopeia's rework? Stashu promised that he wouldn't change Cass too much. He massively changed her kit. Stashu promised to discuss with the players about what he's going to do to fix Cass' kit. We haven't heard from him since Cass' rework came out over a year ago.

What happened with those
It was well explained what we needed to do for Pool Party Mundo and what scored us points globally, I believe. He was the only goal we didn't reach and really, it was a contest... he wasn't promised to us. We didn't make all goals. If we didn't and then they gave it to us on next events the community may go "Oh well, no need to play the event they'll give us everything anyway"
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Kinda finding new GP's face resembles Lycan from Dota 2 a ton.
Correct. The only thing that wasn't explained was that the PP Mundo goal was a STRECH Goal that they had reasoned as possible to reach, but we wouldn't naturally get to that goal unless we worked for it.
Well, at least this event has had an actual lore-wise impact.
I know TF, Graves, MF and GP were free for two weeks, but I'm fairly certain that Fizz was free last week as well as this week. Am I making that up or is that a thing that actually happened?
WELCOME TO MEME HELL!!!
