I read the synopsis for Lind's trash novel. Just reading our page on it and I can already tell it is utterly repulsive drivel.
Who watches the watchmen?Would it be justifiable to "accidentally" get those guys shot in "friendly fire" or let them be killed by the "enemy" if you were also in the military?

Damn sad story to hear that shit is still so prevalent. Seriously they swore an oath to the military and the nation to die for the nation but somehow that isn't good enough.
Who watches the watchmen?Nice job making things worse president jackass.
Inter arma enim silent legesYeah. Now the Cartels have more and better trained soldiers who will probably want brutal vengeance against the US or at least immigration officers...
A lot of the deported soldiers failed to follow up on their immigration paperwork. Many got into trouble during or after service. Graduating basic training DOES NOT guarantee citizenship. Forms must be filed. I posted the links to the program before.
Most of these guys got in trouble for drugs, one of the subjects in that article talked about doing home invasions. They fucked up.
Those that don't fuck up need the wheels greased on the path to citizenship. It's still a shitton of paperwork AND most of the time programs are ad-hoc or "one time only". Fuck that. Make it a permanent program with rules that ICE and the DOD can't play fast and loose with.
The cartels have access to all kinds of low-lifes with military backrgounds: mercs, latin american SF guys, many US trained Mexican Army, Marines and SF guys who desert for a better paycheck. Hell, "Los Zetas" got their name because "zeta" is a Mexican Army radio call sign. They were trained by JSOC, but they deserted to the cartels and become a cartel in their own right.

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48A threefer:
Baltic governments, motivated by unease over a more unpredictable Kremlin, also want the U.S. to house the Patriot air-and-missile defense system in the region to defend against potential future threats by Russia.
TL;DR - Russia is going for a "THAAD-ski" rather than a Stealth killer. Every year we hear about anti-stealth, an every year no one cuts metal on a working system. It's the Girl Friend In Canada of anti-aircraft systems.
While a large portion of the $26.8 billion requested for modernization typically covers aviation and mission command, and still does, the Army is diverting more of its attention toward bolstering ground maneuver capability and air defense — both capabilities that would be needed if U.S. and NATO forces had to go up against a country like Russia in the European theater.

A look at civilian deaths and military organizational-culture.
Si Vis Pacem, Para PerkeleI'm surprised they got arrested.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. The arrest was probably due to them climbing the building.

Si Vis Pacem, Para Perkele...and not give them reasons to throw grenades on other rallies.
Like it or not those guys probably know how to do it very well.
Inter arma enim silent legesYeah, no grenades.
But like, if it would like, rain every time they held a rally, that'd be cool.
Tropical rains.
There's a reason why nobody can film a romantic rain scene on the Malayan Peninsula without having people laugh at the end result.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotKorean rain.
I got caught out in a summer rainstorm in Korea once. Once
I've taken freaking baths and didn't get as wet as I did that day.
COTS replacement for the M-4 might still be on the cards for the US Army.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I wonder if they have ever considered a COTS replacement for cots.
A perspective of someone who did national service in Korea:
Oh God, I hate change of command ceremony. It's so damn exhausting...
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
Oh, they'd stay radical, and Pence would probably make said situation even worse. And I doubt that even a Democrat could get them to cut this crap out, Obama couldn't.
