Weird dreams

I had a dream there was a trope called "Stego Hands Get You". So, in the dream, there was a fetish called "stego hands" where a four-legged creature would have realistic human hands in place of front paws — especially where the creature itself is cartoony but the hands are drawn realistically — and "Stego Hands Get You" was a comedy trope that implied those hands are used to grab prey and drag them away to an uncertain fate. It showed an example of a stage from Super Smash Bros. with a wolf with hands would pull away players that got too close to it.

Last night I had a dream that Nintendo announced a new Pokémon game. They showed off the map of the game's region, and there was a massive circus/amusement park that functioned as its own town and took up nearly half the map.

They also revealed a new Pokémon. I forget its name, but it was an anthropomorphic hyena with a slender build, like Meowscarada's, except this Pokémon had a clown motif, with a pink and white color scheme. I would guess it was a Fairy/Psychic type or something. This Pokémon was considered the mascot for the game, even though it wasn't a Legendary.

This Pokémon had a special move that was a Game-Breaker: it would take one of the enemy's reserved Pokémon, trap them in a transparent pink bubble, then shoot them out as a projectile at the enemy's active Pokémon. And since this Pokémon was the mascot, you could get it very early in the game.

One of the developers said something like this about that move:

"We thought a lot about how a clown would fight in the Pokémon world. We figured that a clown's moveset would involve a lot of trickery and surprises. We hope this move perfectly embodies that idea."

A lot of people online hated this Pokémon, partially because it was OP, and partially because clowns aren't exactly beloved in America. But I was so excited. I remember messaging Bluethorn about it. I was so convinced it was real until I woke up.

I was in the world of the live action Little Mermaid remake critiquing it. At one point I was walking down some sort of long hallway.

I once had a dream where a Monster Clown took over the hotel I was staying at in the dream while I was outside for like five seconds. The things you miss sometimes, I guess.

I dreamed that Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish went after The Powerpuff Girls. And for whatever reason, he wanted to team up with the Rowdyruff Boys even though I think he'd make a better team with Him.

Oh, I believe in yesterday

The other day, I had a dream that involved a show (it looked to be a web series of some sort) which was hosted by "Weird Al" Yankovic. On the show, people would perform Comedy Music, and in-between each song, Weird Al would do some commentary.

I think I'd watch it. It's making me think of The Dr. Demento Show... where Weird Al basically got his start in the first place.

Recently, I learned about the existence of Boop! the Betty Boop Musical, a new Broadway musical about Betty Boop going to the real world. My entire dream last night was a weird version of the play.

I was acting in the play, although it was as if the events were happening for real. We actually were toons walking around the real world.

There were two major characters who I'm assuming aren't in the actual play:

• Bimbo the Dog: Played by me. I had to actively do a falsetto voice to play him. I was Betty's friend, and a Lovable Coward who wanted to help, but was scared of almost everything. This feels surprisingly accurate to me, TBH.
• A dodo bird with a German accent who was The Load. He kept getting us into trouble. I think he was also a Death Seeker. I have no clue where this idea came from.

There's one scene that I remember very clearly:

During our travels, we saw a logging company tearing down a forest. We were so upset when we saw this, and I thought it was going to lead to a heartwarming Green Aesop.

But instead, Betty found a stand selling cannabis products nearby. She bought some cannabis to cope with her feelings and got really high in just a few seconds. I had to try to convince her to "snap out of it" so we could continue our adventure. I think I actually started Corpsing because it was just so unexpected. I guess I was "acting" in this story without knowing the script. I don't remember how it ended.

I had a dream last night where Mojang added a new hostile mob in Minecraft called Grandmas, who were human grandmas, and they repeatedly attacked the villagers in the village I made.

I dreamt that I adopted three kittens: one named Firecracker (ginger), one named Eduardo (white with a hint of ginger), and one with a name I can't remember (grey). They were all tomcats and brothers.

The weird part was that at one point I thought I discovered another kitten that was dead, but then I realised that that wasn't a dead kitten; it was... the skin of a dead rat.

At some point last night, I dreamed that one of my RP characters was a character in an episode of Dragon Tales and the plot involved Max, Emmy, and Cassie trying to help them overcome stage fright. When the episode was over, I got worried that I was going to get sued by PBS or Sesame Workshop for accidentally stealing one of their character ideas.

Then I went to the grocery store with my folks and picked up a newspaper whose headline read in enormous bold letters: "BBC ON ICE!!", and was describing various British television personalities and cartoon characters being in an ice show ala Disney on Ice.

"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."

I had a dream about a Persona 3 movie, where the Fem MC is exploring an island with some older female relatives and finds a robot (who looks a lot a male Aegis) and forms a bond with him while exploring a ruined mansion (ala Another Code).

In my dream last night, I was friends with some benevolent sorceress. I can't remember what she looked like. She had a voice like Eleanor Audley as Maleficent, but she clearly wasn't Maleficent. I was trying to escape a dark castle, like something out of a Mario game, with tons of cannons and other deadly obstacles. The sorceress used her powers to freeze most of the obstacles so I could get past them.

Some time later, I found a wide, shallow pond. The pond and the land around it were completely covered in litter. It was heartbreaking to look at. So I stopped to try and clean it up myself. People gathered to watch, but nobody offered to help me.

Suddenly, I realized there was a huge alligator in the pond right in front of me, and I panicked. But even though the sorceress wasn't physically there, somehow she still knew I needed help, and she transformed me into a big, Killer Croc-esque reptilian creature to scare the gator away. It was kind of cool. 😅

Unfortunately, I didn't get to clean up all the garbage before I woke up. There was just too much of it. I wondered why the sorceress didn't just use her magic to get rid of the garbage, but I think she knew there was something important about me having the experience of cleaning it manually.

I once dreamt someone reported me on ATT for being annoying, although I can't remember the specifics; a mod later suspended me. Every time I went to appeal in Edit Banned, I got sidetracked by clips where Star Wars droids snarked with each other (with subtitles to translate Binary) in the style of those “X being Y for Z minutes” videos. When I eventually got around to delivering my appeal, I found Edit Banned had been given the new name "Moderators Vs. Whiny Ban-ees". No idea. Also, Fighteer changed his avatar to a Flamigo.

Last night it seems like I had two different dream welded into one, beacuse I can't tell how they were correlated, if at all. In the first dream, the house where I'm currently residing had received an expansion, and I was given a dedicated room to sleep in (since I'm sleeping on a nephew's room IRL). However, there was what seemed to be a large hole in the ceiling, and the bed where I was supposed to sleep was a cradle, so I asked about it in the hall. They told me that the room hadn't finished the construction process yet, but the workers had to assist someone else's house, while the truck that was delivering the adult bed for the room got a flat tire so they told me I had to sleep in the cradle. Suffice to say I wasn't happy at all, considering the outside cold weather which was going to slip into my new room due to the hole in the ceiling. And sleeping in a cradle? REALLY?!

The second dream was... more abstract. I was playing Tears of the Kingdom (I was in my house's room in Venezuela, I can't tell why I was back there so soon O_o) looking for Dragon Tears. Instead of being in the floor, the geoglyphs were projected in the high skies in the same way the Bat Signal would be, and the sky was darkly cloudy so they could be seen easily. But at one point, I quit playing and went outside. I heard about a festival where people were celebrating Valentine's Day by buying a bottle of a particular color (green or orange) and "galvanizing" it with another of the other color (keep in mind this was a dream, the word "galvanization" has a different meaning from what was actually happening in the dream: Two bottles were put in lab tables where an engine-shaped device subjected the bottles' liquids to a mutual electrolysis; supposedly, this improved the flavors of the two drinks and also symbolized a stronger bond between the respective owners of the bottles).

A boy in her early teens approached me with a sad face and asked me if I'd like to "galvanize" (again, just chemically react) a drink of mine with his. At first it felt awkward because, one, I was straight, and two, I was way older than him. But he told me that the festival wasn't just to strengthen bonds between spouses or engaged ones, but also between families, friends and samaritans; he told me that he had a green bottle, and that many people had already given electrochemical reactions to their orange bottles (and he observed that many even preferred coupling two orange or two green bottles, arguing that the resulting flavor was better than mixed-color couples). I walked across my town alongside the boy so I could buy an orange bottle and do the... umm, thing with the boy's green one. Unfortunately, around 1 pm or so in the cloudy day, many shops were closed already, and many streets were inexplicably empty, as if the festival was winding down to an end already. In a street adjacent to my former elementary school I found a stray, unopened green bottle, and I thought this would do despite being the same color as that of the boy's bottle. But when I turned around to show it to the kid, I noticed he wasn't following me anymore, and I could see from afar that he was being taken by what seemed to be his siblings (all of whom drank their chemically reacted bottles). The boy was very sad,.... and so was I, because now I had a non-reacted green bottle and there was nobody I could make it react with.

I never thought chemistry would give me an uncomfortable dream like this for the first time in ages (last time was in 2012).

I imagined a Rick and Morty scene in my dreams. Space Beth married a weirldly agressive blob alien and they all needed to try to get along with it, and then they started to watch alien tv, but every party guess kept changing the channel. Each time the channel was changed it made a unique sound and all they needed to do to change it was move their finger so everything devolved into a rave party.

I had a dream where there was a Complete Monster from The Punisher. He tried to force someone to take deadly drugs, and if they don't he will blow up several innocents. He was stopped by The Punisher though. I'm not sure if this would actually be considered bad enough for the Punisher's heinous standard, even with a niche of "die or I'll kill other people."

Then again, it's not the first time my dreams have involved the Complete Monster part of the site.

The most recent dream for me involved Jerry Lawler giving me a photo album full of rare pictures and adverts. Inside the album, there was a poster advertising a card in which he appeared. We seemed to be good friends in the dream.

Oooooh, weird dream thread! I'll probably wind up posting here a lot, both old and new dreams.

Two I particularly feel like mentioning are the ones where Peter Pan tried to kill me. I had those dreams soon after turning eighteen, and adults aren't allowed in the Lost Boys, so...

(I mean, I'm a girl, so technically I couldn't have been a Lost Boy, but still)

The first time, we went on a walk, and then he abruptly pushed me off a cliff into the sea to try to drown me. The second time, I was in the forest by the side of the road, and he tried to blow me up with TNT. He even tied my wrists together — WITH THE TNT FUSE.

By that I mean Peter Pan was in my dreams again. Neverland was a theme park, and as I went down the floors (some of it was indoors), I came to the realization that long ago, he'd killed Margaret (Wendy's granddaughter). After I realized this, he started chasing me with the intent to kill.

Guess he's officially haunting my dreams now.

I had a dream that involved me being at a restaurant. I had what looked like onion rings, and there was a Spoiled Brat who kept running over to my table and stealing my food. No one would do anything about this, because supposedly the kid was being "cute", and I was supposedly in the wrong for trying to complain about this.

That was completely forgotten about, and the next part involved me wandering around in a craft store for a while. I was looking at some Halloween decorations, and also bought what appeared to be an ancient Egyptian artifact for two dollars. (I think it was a replica.) It was raining outside, and I was preparing to go to some party/event.

Anyway, I ended up going to my stepbrother's house. He had a very large amount of black cats (he really does have two cats in real life - one brown, and one orange), and we were all playing a trivia game. I was one of the highest scorers, so I picked up the nearest cat and held it up in a "Lion King" Lift. That particular cat's name was apparently "Magic Cat".

I dreamt that two new kids' show spinoffs had recently come out.

The first one was a spinoff of Bluey titled Big Bluey, which was set in the future, focusing on an adult Bluey.

The second one was a spinoff of Blue's Clues, titled Blue's Baby Steps, and it was set around the time Steve first got Blue, so he was a kid and the others (except Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper) were babies. Unlike most Spinoff Babies shows, it was meant to be canon to the main show. The weirdest part, however, was that Steve and Joe weren't being raised by their parents, or even by Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, but instead by this old man who liked to build crazy inventions and had a pet (female, green) octopus in an aquarium, who, unlike most of the animals, couldn't talk.

I had a Superfriends dream where Black Manta kidnapped an Aquaman decoy to hide the fact that he already kidnapped Aquaman.....good to know my subconscious is just as wacky as Superfriends writers XD

The Protomen enhanced my life.

I had two dreams about artists I followed when I had a DA account (a Haikyuu!! artist named Suncellia and an MLP artist I forgot the name). I don't remember much of them but I did have a Catapult Nightmare for the latter. Hope the former is doing well.
