I guess Valve just doesn't like rendering modern cars. They must be too curvy. Also, I guess white CRT monitors are still in style in their world.

That, or parts of the US haven't quite caught up.

I live in The Deep South. (The southern border of the area, yes, but I go north into rural Florida sometimes.) We have cars that were made after 2000.

Anyway, this is a really stupid thing to debate, so I'll stop now.

I remember the first time I had to fight a Tank. I ran away like a coward. Completely forgetting that I had a molly on me.

Practically the same thing happened with my first Witch encounter. I heard crying and the Witch music started, I was too scared to try to crown her, and I was hoping that the bots would go first. None of the bots went before me, but eventually the Francis bot startled the Witch somehow. Man, those were the horror filled, suspenseful days for me. I never want to experience that again.

I remember my first Tank encounter.

I emptied like thirty bullets into it and it still didn't die.

I remember when I first saw Left 4 Dead in a magazine article in Game Informer (I think). I (at, like, 12) thought it looked like the scariest crap I'd ever seen, and literally said to myself "I will never buy this game".

Long story short, I now own both of them and laugh maniacally while mowing down zombies with an M16.

Hope they make another one.

It becomes even funnier when you install some sound mods. Long story short, Scout-voiced common infected pretty much make my game now. Them and Heavy Tank.

I need to know where to find these mods. It is absolutely necessary.

Unlike the thread's title, I am necro-ing this to spread the word now that the Linux beta is live! It actually runs really well considering it's a beta build, I just wish I could've gotten farther into Dead Center than the elevator thanks to Coach's cowardice (screencaps for proof).

I came here to ask about funny Let's Plays of L4D but now I see that you guys are already on the ball. Any more?
