The Walking Dead: The Game

Well, yeah. Strictly speaking, she lost her innocence when she either killed the Stranger to save Lee, or accepted Lee killing him. Innocence is about impossible to preserve in a zombie apocalypse if you want to survive. But I can understand not wanting to make Clementine any more guilty than she already is, at least.

I'm guessing they just formed a very protective attachment to her in Season 1.

I also chose to sit with Luke at dinner instead of Kenny, since I felt it was important to bond with new friends. The look on his face gave me horrible flashbacks of him being a whiny dick in Season 1.

I don't have this game.

But I bought it for my sister because she is a TWD fan, because the game is Mac compatible, and because it seemed like a simple enough game for her to enjoy.

I resigned myself that she is going to spoil the entire game for me (Already she did the first and she is doing so with the second as she is still completing it).

Damn this game sounds depressing :(

For me, it had nothing to do with preserving Clementine's innocence, but instead wanting to be a better person than Carver wanted me to be. But I don't play the game as Clementine's guardian anymore.

Anybody else having recurring audio glitches for Season 1 where the characters will repeat the last one or two words they said before they finish a line? I'm playing on PS 3.

That's a common issue with Telltale's games, yeah.

There's something weird about their engine that makes their games run beautifully on PC, but causes all sorts of problems on consoles.

It's happened before on my older P S3s, but it seems especially bad with this one. There any fix that you know of?

Nope.

So I downloaded season 1's first episode on ipad since it was free. I thought it ran, looked, and controlled better than it did on my 360. Which is messed up.

But the important fact is that because it was on ipad I was able to trick my mom into giving it a try. For context my mom hates games because she thinks they are making me lazy (well, she ain't wrong...). It took an hour of on and off goading, but I was finally able to get her to try it by saying "Just give it 10 minutes." 2 and a half hours later and she was asking if there was more.

Yep. My mom loves this game. She only died like 3 times and her decisions were:

• Left Clem's house during the day.
• Saved Duck over Shawn.
• Sided with Kenny over Larry.
• Refused to give that woman the gun, forcing her to steal it and herself.
• Saved Carley over Doug. Her reasoning was because "She has a gun." I gave her a hug for that one.

Yeah, I downloaded it on my iPad just for comparison's sake and it ran almost flawlessly. I'm just going to download the rest of the season, and maybe season 2 later on.

Okay, I really want to play this game because it looks good. I must know though. Okay so look here is a video I found, skip to about 3:30-3:35. Do I see what I think I see? I must know please tell me this game looks so good I need to know if it will allow evil spirits into my house.

I think if a video game was causing demonic possession of dwellings, you would have heard about it by now.

As I said before, no, those are not Satanic symbols. I can understand why you'd think they are, but trust me, they aren't.

How is that a spoiler? Almost every Zombie movie or anything has such a... thing. Not sure WHY I'm spoilering this but its a Red 'X' Mark to show that that house or building has been looted and cleared out.

Its hardly a spoiler, particularly since its Episode 4 of 5.

Eh, I dunno. I would feel spoiled if someone told me about it before I had played episode 4, but if it's really that ubiquitous, then fair enough.

New Episode Supposidly coming out this month, and I'm excited for it!

I don't have Season 2 yet, but I recently finished my first Season 1 Play through (I plan on doing a 2nd one where Lee is the Silent Type), and it was fun. I also was a great friend to Kenny, simply because I knew Kenny would live to Season 2. I'll pick up Season 2 when all the Episodes are Released.

Well, the episode is shaping up to be more interesting than the previous trailer made it out to be.

No release date either? Probably next Tuesday though based on the trend.

Also, did anyone else notice that she's still wearing pants in the scene where she's clearly pushing? :P

I hate pointless censorship like that. It ALWAYS ends up being hilarious. YOU know that WE know what this actually is but WE know YOU'RE smart enough to figure that out because WE have to censor stuff needlessly.

Like, Dragon Age for instance, can show the on screen death of a child character, monsters that clearly have tits flapping freely in the wind, but the second it comes to two characters having sex 'LOLNOPE!' and they're apparently doing it through their pants.

Like, why? What purpose does this serve? Its already an M rated game and we all know what a penis and boobs and etc look like and these two characters are CLEARLY fucking. Why hide it? It just makes you look immature.

Out Last is a more fandom example; The game features various very disturbing deaths and other degusting things, such as watching your own body be ripped from your head. Several of the characters are naked in game; the setting is a disgusting falling apart insane asylum that the inmates have taken over and having no clothes makes them silent predators.

But, on the Wiki, WE MUST CENSOR THAT PENIS!

Whoa, it's actually coming out for the Vita at the same time as the other releases? Me and my Vita don't have to wait a month to play and get spoiled all to hell?!? Cool.

So, I noticed a severe lack of Nick in the trailer. As in, I don't think that he was in a single frame of it. Kind of odd, even if he is a determinant character. Who wants to bet that he ends up getting killed in the herd at the beginning the episode? Because I seriously doubt that Telltale will be keeping him around for much longer.

That is a surprise indeed. OH GOD I HAVE TO PLAY THROUGH THE EPISODE BLIND NOES.
