Not strong enough. Would be a cool what-if though: the legendary Super Saiyan is revealed to be Raditz' shit brother who, despite only having a Power Level of 300-400, can increase his power to 15,000-20,000. Vegeta would be PISSED.
Also Super Saiyan didn't exist yet
One Strip! One Strip!Well that goes without saying Rob.
That's the out-of-universe explanation.
Hell, saiyans didn't exist yet. Toriyama just thought Goku was an unusual human at that point.
The comments Bulma and Oolong make in the Pilaf saga about how he can't possibly be from this planet are Hilarious in Hindsight.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerSo, in other words, just like Kinnikuman, who is mainly a threat because Burning Inner Strength is stupidly OP in terms of power multipliers.
The guys sound so excited when they finally unlock Super Saiyan 4 Goku.
This game is...this is awful.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Personally, I'm just surprised there are more than 10 playable characters. Even if that's only because the other characters are just playable transformations.
I can't believe they seriously have SSJ GT Goku and SSJ Z Goku as separate characters.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! Wow is that lame.
Oh, Super!Adult! and Super!Kid!. Okay, that's somewhat justifiable, then.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyWhich doesn't even make sense. SSJ GT Goku appeared for like, ten seconds in the first episode of GT. Then he got turned into a kid.
That wasn't even SSJ Goku. Base, adult Goku got turned into a kid.
Adult Goku never became a Super Saiyan in GT. It's super ridiculous.
You'd almost think it was a parody of the bizarre and arbitrary roster splits if such a thing was released today.
I still think the funniest part about that game was how they tried to release it in the US before Z's first run over here. What were they thinking?
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerMaybe "Super Goku" is supposed to be a Goku version of Super Vegeta?
I never quite understood what the distinction was between Super Saiyan 1 Vegeta and Super Vegeta.
I have a message from another time...Super Vegeta is Ascended Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan Grade 2 Vegeta. More powerful than normal Super Saiyan but it drains energy too fast to be practical.
Think of Super Vegeta as like Super Saiyan 1.5
Oh really when?Pls nerf.
Secret Signature...There seems to be a pattern whenever Taka plays.
I've played DBZ Final Bout when I was a kid, but it was an import Japanese version, not the English dubbed one. If I recall correctly, the orange-gi Goku was nicknamed "Super Goku Z", and was supposed to be a super saiyan 2... I think. Or maybe it's just the Dragon Ball Z version instead of Dragon Ball GT.
Every version of Goku basically used the same moves, except they did more damage and the character became slower; some combos were also altered slightly, that's why Z Goku does his ridiculous spin-kick and other versions can't.
It went GT Goku, then GT Super Goku, Z Super Goku and SSJ 4 Goku, in this order, each of them hitting harder and harder while moving slower and slower. SSJ 4 Goku walks ridiculously slow in that game! Not that it matters, because you can just hover one inch over the ground and use the horrible fly physics instead, something the AI did constantly.
Trunks had the exact same path. GT Trunks, GT Super Trunks then Z Super Trunks, the latter being almost as slow as SSJ 4 Goku but nowhere near as strong. The balance was all over the place in that game...
Vegeta has only one version, which is supposed to be his Babidi controlled form (not that you can tell). And a tiny little bit used to upset me a whole lot: the stronger is your character, the bigger his aura becomes when he charges up (SSJ 4 Goku's is almost twice as big as himself). Vegeta was stuck with the smallest aura possible, used for chibi characters (Pan and young Goku), and never evolved beyond that...
So Super Saiyan 4 Goku is the best character in Final Bout thanks to the Cherry Tapping priority he has on his basic punch attack.
I remember just trapping opponents in infinite meteor combos.
So when do you think the Android 13 Movie Breakdown's coming? I kind of enjoy those.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI just want him to weigh in so we finally get an answer to Vegeta's "that makes 8" line, because we've been arguing about that forever.
So why didn't Goku go Super Saiyan the first time Krillin died?
Under Goku's logic in Episode 50, I mean.
