Man... that could stand to be redone, because it's just not enjoyable to me in its present form. Everything's so different.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyMy favorite lines near all come from Freeza when he's fighting Goku, especially during his Villainous Breakdown. I think it'd between his reaction to seeing the spirit bomb and his increasingly insane attempts to blow up Goku after he goes super Saiyan. Especially since it doesn't even work.
"Bigger! Bigger!! BIGGER!!!" (energy blast gets insanely huge) "Perfect..."
My love of Freeza's lines in general is why I'm super excited for the next episode to see what they do with Cell. So far they've been batting a thousand for villains.
From the movies, I don't remember the exact words but Garlic Jr's freaking out reaction to his henchmen stealing Gohan in the new Dead Zone. "You morons stole Goku's kid?!"

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain."YOU'RE BEING STUPID! STOP BEING STUPID!"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Mountain!"
"Jesus I overslept. It's already night. For the first time since I got here... on a planet that has three suns..."
And I don't remember what he said, but I loved how Piccolo casually revealed that he heard everything Trunks told Goku.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThe proper line is "...That's stupid! You're stupid!! STOP BEING STUPID!!!"
That's probably my favorite, at least from Freezer.
I'm also quite fond of "540,000 to one! Lucky you!" from Gero.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Best part of that was the "Oh my shit" at the end. Sarcasm Failure at its best.
but HOW?Pretty much every line of dialogue between Frieza and Goku is glorious. One of my favorites: "Good lord, I traded Vegeta for this."
Frieza expresses buyer's remorse.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Favorite canon character is Piccolo, and my favorite abridged character... might also be Piccolo. Followed by Gohan and, in a staring/laughing at the trainwreck sort of way, Vegeta.
Absolute favorite lines are Piccolo snarking at Lord Slug's minions, Garlic jr. talking to his minions when he realizes who Gohan is,
Oh god, your father is Goku. Oh my god you morons stole Goku's kid?!! How?! How did you steal Goku's kid?!
Well, first we beat up his wife...
also, my girlfriend and I have definitely adopted "Qu'est ce fuck" and "No! None of that! Shame on you!".

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018
Start of the Goku vs Freeza fight shortly after Vegeta's dead. Episode 28, I believe.
I like everything everyone else says to Trunks pretty well.
"Woah, what happened to your hair? It's all yellow."
"Uh, so is yours."
"It is!?"
I love that as well, and was going to post the same quote as The Wanderer. I even went and rewatched Dead Zone Abridged just for this.
Another one, from Kai Abridged, even when making fun of Nappa being a gold mine, Nappa still is a gold mine.
"I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say"
Oh, and Cooler is almost as funny as his brother.
"We meet again dumbass,"
"Goku."
"Dumbass"
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018When he was first trying to intimidate Goku near the start of their fight.
- FRIEZA: Oh, people are always going on about the children. I've tried letting them live, but they usually just grow up under my rule or try to oppose me. Usually both. Honestly, killing them is a mercy. I could retract that mercy if you'd like, but then who's the villain?
- GOKU: You are.
- FRIEZA: What? No, that was a rhetorical question!
- GOKU: And I gave you a rhetorical answer!
- FRIEZA: ...dear lord, I traded Vegeta for this.
That dialogue effectively summarizes what I love about Goku and Frieza's interaction. Frieza thrives on intimidation. He revels in the joy of getting under people's skins, watching them quake in terror. He's a complete and utter sadist.
Goku, however, is just too f*cking stupid to be intimidated. Half of Frieza's attempts at psychological subterfuge go right over his head, and the other half just bore him with all the talky-talk. Goku is a simple creature: in a fight, you punch guys until one of you is left standing.
- FRIEZA: If it makes you feel better, I'm sure he's in a better place. Oh, who am I kidding, he's probably in Hell!
- GOKU: I've been to Hell. It wasn't so bad, except for these two oiled-up German guys who wanted to wrestle me.
- FRIEZA: ...are you real?
Thus, Goku's complete and utter immunity to psychological manipulation winds up inadvertently getting under Frieza's skin, as we watch the galactic emperor lose more and more of his composure not by his inability to kill Goku, but from his inability to enjoy it. Goku's steady gains in the fight over Frieza are just the icing on the cake that is Frieza's consternation and steady psychological degradation.
"By the way, not dead, k thx DIE." By the time Goku becomes a Super Saiyan, Frieza is so completely fed up that he's just ready to cut his losses, kill everyone right f*cking now, and leave. Which, of course, ultimately turns into "Daddy, I don't want to be on Namek anymore."

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.He does learn how to fight Goku, though, by offering him "pizzas/Kienstructodiscs".
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAh.
That Kienstructodisk scene in Kai Episode 2 was just the best thing ever.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Goku vs. Frieza is just a great fight in general, both in canon and abridged.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. They made it even better in Abridged. The fight was a lot more natural than Freeza going FIFUTY PAHSENDOU mid way; turning it into a big curb stomp.
Instead, Freeza was quickly getting fed up with Goku; becoming more and more desperate to shut him up, or make him suffer. It was both awesome and priceless.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018It's telling that even in the speed-rush that is DBZA Kai Frieza still comes across as menacing.
- Vegeta: Wait, am I immortal?
- Frieza: I dunno, let's see.

Krillin: Ohhohoho, he's pissed.
My favorite lines? Oh, that's easy.
Vegeta: Aaaa you're hitting me...
Fr(x)eza: Au contraire, Vegeta... you brought this on yourself.
Goku: *casually blocks* Seriously, how's Krillin?
The dramatic lines tend to stand out to me a lot more than the comedic ones. They take a lot more talent to pull off effectively, especially with the surrounding environment.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerFreeza after the Guru died still stands out to me, because it was genuinely terrifying. Kudos to LK for his godlike Voice acting, seriously he did Freeza better than half of the cast of Yugioh Abridged.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Something weird I noticed that Abridged kinda highlighted for me.
Saiyan Saga- Humans train for months to fight the Saiyans, wind up getting curbstomped
Android Saga- Everyone trains for THREE YEARS for the Androids, beat the shit out of 19 and 20
Piccolo: Do you think we overtrained for this?
