what do you find to be the biggest Tear Jerker's in video games? Lists are fine and if its a specific one, you can go into detail.

E-102 Gamma's death. So selfless, yet so tragic.

When Mario bumps into the goomba and falls under the screen.

I fucking BAWLED.

Parts of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 had me in tears.

The ending of Conkers Bad Fur Day wasn't a Tear Jerker personally, but it has very high potential in that respect... if for no other reason than because you don't see it coming.

Conker: "It's true what they say, the grass is always greener. And you don't really know what it is you have, until it's gone... gone... gone."

Ending to Links Awakening.

Unless you beat it with no deaths.

^Isn't it still a tearjerker? I mean, no deaths only means 2 people survive instead of one!

The ending to Lufia II. At the time, I hadn't played the first game at all, so I didn't know that Maxim and Selan die at the end of the prequel. The way it played out though, I doubt having that foreknowledge would've softened the Player Megaton Punch at all, and the ending theme just makes it that much more tearjerking. To date, more than twelve years after seeing that for the first time (...great, now I feel old too), I still can't sit through the entire ending without bawling like a fucking child.

Three from the Mario series:

• Yoshis Island: A positive example-When the slowed-down version of the Super Mario Bros fanare plays at the end, I lose it everytime.

• Luigis Mansion: Luigi's reaction to seeing his brother again. He's laughing for the first time in the game, and a tear goes down his face. Also a Crowning Moment Of Heartwarming.

• Super Mario Galaxy: The Luma's sacrifice. Even moreso when he waves goodbye to him before he does so.

Being that it's me, it should be no surprise that I should name the "Lighthouse Scene" from Beyond Good And Evil, not in part because Jade's voice actor just nails her shock and building sorrow:

"W-w-who did you think you are? Did you actually think you'd be able to make a diffence? Well, Woof, you were wrong, boy. Totally and utterly wrong.

That one scene in Lost Odyssey, anyone's who played it would know exactly what I'm talking about, though admittedly Mack's big no was pretty narmy. But Cooke's reaction was what made the tearjerker.

Oh, and the story with the letters and racist village. That was pretty messed up, and like the one time where Kaim was flat out wrong.

Hard to say... But my biggest Tearjerker so far is the ending of Metal Gear Solid 3.

However, I'm playing Mother 3 at the moment, so that can easily change...

Aerith dies.

Also, the aftermath of the Roxas boss fight in KHII Final Mix +.
