Current earworm? A couple. I Know Him So Well, and, as my sig implies, Philistine
Song of the SirensA friend of mine put this sorta bizarre 60's girl group tune on a mix cd. Now I have an earworm and a particularly unlikely example to add to the Careful with That Axe page.
Dat catchy little minimal blippy progression...
I haven’t even thought about this song in ages. What could have reminded me of it?
Currently it's "Cotton Eye Joe" by Rednex, just from simply reading the title in another thread!
Saving a file as dlsfkjgldfgjdf because I'm too lazy to think of a title.Chorus. Won't. Leave. My. Head.

Saving a file as dlsfkjgldfgjdf because I'm too lazy to think of a title."Comedy Tonight." This thing ain't leaving my brain anytime soon.
Looking for some stories?I seem to have a knack for getting these jaunty Japanese folk songs stuck in my head*:
Three songs absolutely refuse to get out of my head: Tsugai Kogarashi (MEIKO/KAITO duet), "This is Halloween" and "Kidnap the Sandy Claws" from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The Frogs are apparently great at giving you earworms that are really inappropriate to catch yourself singing in public:
I'm feeling kind of depressed, so I'm cranking up Lazy from Machinehead. Love that intro.
Take My Breath Away by Berlin.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'The theme song from Being Ian. To the point where I almost feel suicidal.
Also "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray. Stuck just as bad as the Being Ian theme, if not worse.
I don’t even know anymore. As much as I often use funeral doom (and pretty much all the other major "nu" subforms) as an example of how to be a really crappy songwriter and get away with it, the last album by the UK band Esoteric I've found to have a lot of what I generally find lacking in genre, mostly a strong sense of actual expansion within a song, a willigness to be daring and almost like traditional heavy metal with its lead work, and only being turtle-slow when it's fitting.

Only Death Is Real"Falling to Pieces" by Faith No More, or more specifically, the epic bass riff in it.
Seriously, listen:
That song does have a pretty cool bass line. It's been a while since I've listened to The Real Thing, maybe I'll put it on tomorrow.
I have Abba in my head, thanks to a scene from a Glove And Boots blog:
So I watched the first Pokemon movie last night...
