I dunno, his sprites in the first game were a little off.
Those teeth in his angry sprite... it doesn't help that you only see it for a split second, it's almost like those screamers people keep sending around.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. Why do they let Pearl run around on her own ? She's fucking 8!
I just got into the Ace Attorney series with the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureCongrats! These games are a fun ride.
I have a message from another time...How do they compare to Mile's spinoff? That's the only game in the franchise I've played outside of the first case of Dual Destinies.

Both DD and AAI has a different writer than the original trilogy. The first trilogy is more magical realism and straight court drama compared to the former which is more sci-fi and mystery based. Of course writing wise the original AAI and AJ are tied in my book for the worst. AAI 2 is actually my favorite but you need to pirate and fan translate that.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. What's so bad about the writing in AAI in your opinion? I enjoyed it (well when I wasn't being annoyed at how hard I found the gameplay) but that's mostly because of Kay as well as the character interactions in general.

It's not bad at all. But the writing of the series is overall very high. The main thing that makes it feel flat IMO is the villain. Just not much depth compared to the Ace Attorney standard.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.STAB WOUND!! HOT DOG BOX (munch, chomp)!! HUBJECHTIOOOOON!!!
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! What's with the blank post there?
Personally, I'd prefer if the 'net was a little friendlier, but you know the GIFT...Look at the icon.
So I finally finished Turnabout Big Top after being put off by the start of the case and just for giggles, I saved before the last choice and said the final piece of evidence was under the prosecution bench.
I don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a video game in my life.
If you say it's the Judge's bench, then you'll get hit with one of the hardest penalties in the game, short of instant failure.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Fortunately, someone had the script for that on Wikiquote.
I might replay the last court day just to see that part.
Ultimately, do you consider Ace Attorney or Ghost Trick to have better writing?
I joined the police just to kill people.huh. i never noticed that gumshoe had a picture of maggey in his evidence locker before.
anyways, just finished case 1-5. is there anything actually preventing ema from just taking the forensic test again at a later date? yes its said she failed to get her dream job but it seems kinda silly to act like she has no chance of ever getting it...
OK, so what exactly does HAT (as in HAT-1) stand for? My guess is High Altitude Transport.
Direct all enquiries to Jamie B GoodI have just started Apollo Justice and I keep getting surprised with its quality, I was honestly expecting pure crap sense I thought Apollo was doofy looking and a shallow imitation of Nick.
So far every (of the two I have played) case has managed to get really intense at the end; and though I think the 2nd case is my least favorite of all Ace Attorney (I hate underwear y'all) the game is still really good.
Well met Friends! I say well met!i do think apollo gets a bad rep that it doesnt exactly deserve.
Apollo is hated mostly because he was seen as a Replacement Scrappy for Phoenix and because people mistakenly thought that the massive differences in both cast in addition to the Time Skip meant that we would never see people like Gumshoe, or Edgeworth, or Maya again.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!To be fair, Apollo Justice gutting most of the old cast for a bunch of new characters wasn't a very good idea.
Not to mention the fact that Apollo doesn't even have any close friends or acquaintances that we know of (until the next game), resulting in every character that shows up being new and unfamiliar.
At least with Mia, we got to see her co-workers when she went to court. With Phoenix, our first client was his friend Larry and his first recurring prosecutor was a childhood friend. With Athena, her childhood friend was her first and second client.
With Apollo it's just Phoenix, and he just sorta takes over the plot in both of the major cases, leaving Apollo as sort of an afterthought.
Granted, it's been a while since I played the game, so my memory might be a bit unreliable. But that's how I remember things going, at least.
Yeah, the issue with Apollo's character in his debut is that he doesn't have any meat on him. The only close aquaintence he has is Kristoph, who turns out to be the Big Bad but is otherwise only relevant to two cases. Trucy and Lamoir are connected to him but he had no interpersonal relationship with either tillthe events of the game. Basically a lot of the elements of his story in Dual Destinies should have been introduced in AJ. The Gramarye story felt interesting but it's relevance to Apollo's character is absent because he never finds out he was connected to this whole mess.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.In the very last Case, Terry Fawles says Dahlia Hawethorne was his gf 5 years ago. But, that would have meant he was 20 and she was 14!! Jesus Christ!
Also, how was Valerie Hawethorne a detective at 18 yo?

When did Larry turn from a lovable idiot to a creepy pervert?
