Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

Anybody hear about this? Its called apparently called Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and its about two angels fighting ghosts in Britain during the 1930s. Normally, a show like this I would stay far away from, but then I heard that the directors of Gurren Lagann and Fooly Cooly are behind it, and the series is described as TTGL, Powerpuff Girls and Dead Leaves combined. That alone is at least worth checking out.

I have yet to stumble across something Gainax that I don't like.

I will most definitely be checking this out.

I might watch over Solstace's shoulder, because why not.

The premise is promising. Certainly looking forward to it.

If Hiroyuki Imaishi's at the helm, it should at the very least be fun to watch.

I'll give it a watch if only as a prelude to their better known works.

Sounds promising. Title sounds like something designed to scare off those more pretentious anti-fanservice anime fans, so that kinda amuses me.

Kinda wish they show off what Panty and Stocking looks like though.

It's Gainax. They have the reputation that will make people who would otherwise never watch this anime give it a shot.

Could be worth a shot. Considering the premise it needs a perfect execution though (then again, I'd have said the same about Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann too...)
