This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I was banned for trimming one of the longest base breaker articles ever. I don't know if editors care about it, but even in the main page of Final Fantasy X there were signs of biased opinions like calling a cheerful guy "egoistical". As a result I don't think my edits are against the rules.
Did I make an edit war? Never saw a change. As I was revising the article, I noted no changes. In fact, as soon as I was banned the user blanked my edit and returned the ridiculously long section
I would like to to see or be pointed to a example of my natter to contrast and learn how not to make such a mistake. My desire is to return to the trope community as soon as possible and believe seeing exactly what in my edit's constituted natter. (I ask for specific or deleted example's because I assumed most of entries were natter and thus deleted yet, through Wiki walks, I discovered that most edit's or addition of mine were still in place.)
By the way, my original aim was to make a short exhange between the fans' comments not 4 paragraphs of how something was received like Wikipedia.

~boatman8: When your edit disappears or is no longer there - it did happen before your ban - you should check the page history - there is a history button on the same bar as the edit button - to check if someone undid your edit. It is not OK to simply readd a reverted edit.

Checking it and I didn't find any edit war. I didn't even try to blank content but instead trim it to be more neutral similar to other similar tropes. Besides the current one talks about stuff not even present in the game. How can I edit again? Can I restore my edit if it's okay since it includes only stuff from the article?
So how can I edit again? I won't touch Final Fantasy X if trimming a section is against the rules.

The reason why I have been suspended from editing in TV Tropes was because I fixated on an issue that I have been warned about now continuing on the matter but still continued to go on about the subject despite warnings. I apologize and it won't happen again
- In Ever17 after Kid has a dream that's weirdly similar to what actually happened when he was sleeping, Sara suggests he had an out-of-body experience. When Kid unwisely mentions Power Perversion Potential of said idea, Sara smacks him.

...Okay, I decided it would be best to wait a while before making this, long enough for me to cool down and thus make a higher-quality post.
I’m guessing that having my editing privileges suspended was a result of my getting into edit wars over MLP. Not to mention being hostile about it. I do apologize for that... it’s just that I get rather upset over that specific moment in the show. I also felt my opinion that the moment was bad deserved to be shown just as much as the opinion of people who find it funny.
I understand that not all of my edits regarding that moment are unnecessary, but that some are, enough so to warrant suspending my editing privileges, and that my being rude about it doesn’t help. It’s just that when someone makes “you” statements in the edit reasons, I feel the need to do the same in return. Which I see was a bad idea.
So I humbly apologize. I can commit to not making personal attacks when I edit things. I have made plenty of edits regarding things outside of this moment, so I feel I can be a good troper with my editing privileges back.

Indeed, it revolved around MLP. You were throwing around complaining and shoehorning for a particular moment in the episode "Magic Duel", with behavior fitting a Single-Issue Wonk. We don't take such behavior lightly.

I understand that. And I apologize for my thoughtlessness. I think I can recover from this, and in future leave out my biases when editing pages. If it’s possible for me to have another chance, I could prove myself worthy of editing and creating pages.

I'm back again, but this time I will not ask for the returning of the editing priviledges. I want to ask if there's a mean to being able to post in forums and "Talk" pages but not editing pages poper. This time I am aware that I might get overzealous editing and that my grammar isn't as good as I think, so I prefer to not edit them without proper proofreading (I got the term right?) by another troper. And the " if we have to call you here again, we won't be lenient" still scares the heck out of me.
Anyway. It could be done?

I'll work on some more of these cases later, but one immediate note for ~Korvalus: Our suspension system treats the wiki articles and Discussion pages as the same thing. We can't block one and not the other. You can participate on the forums all you like, but you can't be permitted to edit articles.

Okay, I get it. Not what I liked best, but I guess that I'll have to exercise self-restraint and become a regular in the "Get Help With English" post. Would I be able to appeal again?

If you demonstrate sufficient improvement at English that we feel you can edit unsupervised, yes.

Just remember that plagiarism is a serious offense in any community and can get TV Tropes in trouble, never mind you alone.
~Model ZXA: Yes, I see what you did. We tend to issue permanent bans for this kind of shenanigan, because there's no point in entertaining people who think that vandalizing articles is funny. Edit warring over that same vandalism is strike number two. You would be well advised not to push us any further, because strike three gets you booted for good. Is that completely understood?
