This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

~rafi, this is the ban appeals thread. Here you are supposed to make a case as to why you want to get unbanned. With that in mind, making spelling and grammar errors here (such as "dont" instead of the correct "don't") will raise concern that your writing isn't good enough for the wiki.

I have not been rude in this discussion and I have stated I will not be rude in P Ms anymore. I was not vandalizing pages or disrupting the site, I don't routinely engage in arguments with people here, and I have acknowledged I was rude in a PM but know better now and will be polite if I get any P Ms in the future to prevent this from happening again. I was rude, I acknowledge it, but is being rude in a PM something worth a permanent ban from editing with no warning? Why not give me another shot(and even forbid me from P Ming if you are concerned about that), and if I'm rude again then ban me?

The response I received reads to me like the person sending it did not read the message he was responding to, though. I was told the response was automatically generated, perhaps that is why it seemd that way to me, I don't know. But I should not have responded rudely, and I will not do so in the future. Isn't the point of the suspensions, and this discussion about them so the person can correct the behavior that got them suspended? All I ask is be able to edit again, I will watch my attitude and how I respond to people should I get another such message in the future(which I will do my best to avoid in the first place).

Well, I guess I was banned because I can't access my PMs.
I wanted to apologize for my behavior in the Pantheon Thread. I just wanted to tell Chris there in the Pantheon Thread that I only wanted to do everything for the good of the Pantheon, and I didn't want to cause conflicts, this being the reason why I contested Lacus but I was willing to accept it now.
But I couldn't and I can't because I'm banned (just guessing) and I wasn't even made aware of this. I wish I was told or someone waited until I said a thing or something. I leave one Sunday to spend some time with my family (something they have been bugging me about) and I return to find out that I was banned, with no way of mending or apologizing what I did before someone called in the mods.
If this is not the reason why I got banned, then I don't know. I'm still willing to apologize for it regardless.

~Toony123: Your sense of ownership and consequent belligerence over the Pantheons topic has gotten to the point where we cannot tolerate it any further. If this were a first offense, we'd consider being lenient, but you had a suspension over it in September from which you seem to have learned nothing. We would look pretty silly letting you in there again.

But I was going to apologize to n3xus for what happened but I wasn't able to.
I took one day off to calm down and not get so Hot-Blooded. I wasn't even told that I would be banned, it just happened the day I was away.
It's not like I couldn't have been told that I was over the line (I tend not to notice that I am over the line), I have seen that some posts are given a stick if they are rude. It even happened on the Pantheon Thread once (to someone else).
Chris did tell me and I wanted to apologize to n3xus for my lack of control but I only found out after I was banned.
And to be honest, I don't feel that I own the Pantheon Thread or anything. I never did. I just wanted to collaborate by giving my opinion. Maybe I just don't choose the right words to express myself since a) English is not my first language and b) I tend to have problems expressing myself even in Spanish.

But when I was suspended, I was told by the other posters that they would call in the mods and I choose to ignore it, a decision I'm not proud of.
That didn't happen now. I didn't even know I was banned until I tried to see my PMs after I took a day off and it said the PM system was turned off for me.
I also checked on the posts logged off and nothing suggested that someone called the mods so I wouldn't even I know I was banned from that (I already knew when I did that though).
I would have apologized since, as I said, I realized I went out of control and tried to be calm. But I can't. n3xus is my friend at that, and I really just wanted to apologize to him but now I can't even PM about it.

You have continued to demonstrate belligerence in the Pantheons thread, and so we acted. At this point it would be a monumental task to convince us that you're able to moderate yourself in the future.
Your PMs were blocked because they were the vehicle for this particular round of personal attacks.
If we were to let you back, you would continue being blocked from messaging and from Forum Games. However, looking at your wiki and forum history, your only contributions of note in recent memory are to the Pantheons, which are superfluous to the wiki. This leaves us without much to work with.

I was trying to test out this edit thing before I did an analysis, and I wanted to see where I could edit, and the first thing that came up was the FAQ page.
I decided to do something minor, and backspace a letter out of a word. I saved, and saw the change. I went to go an re-edit it back, but I was taken back to my previous page, and my computer froze, and it took a long time to get back on this website. I got back to change it quickly, and I saw myself banned.
