This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

~Sarr_Cat: Hi there, and thanks for coming to talk to us. One of our style rules is that articles should be launched in a reasonably complete state. Don't use the wiki to do your rough drafts, in other words.
You do have a number of options:
- Use the Wiki Sandbox to draft your article. You do this by changing the namespace portion of the URL to "Sandbox". To borrow one of your articles, the link would be Sandbox.Reassembly. When ready to launch it, you would copy the markup into the correct namespace, index and crosswick it, then send the Sandbox page to the Cut List.
- Use YKTTW. This system is designed for drafting tropes, but it is entirely fine to use it for work articles, especially if you want feedback or help with getting trope examples.
- Draft it offline and paste it into the edit window when it's reasonably complete. The Preview function can help with this.
In all cases, we require that you crosswick your articles — that is, put an entry for the work on all trope articles that it references. Otherwise, how will anyone find it?
How To Create A Works Page has more detailed information; we highly recommend that you read it. When you're ready to proceed, let us know here and we will release your suspension.

Our first rule is "Nastiness and dickery will not be tolerated." Making personal attacks on other tropers, especially in the articles themselves, gets you on our bad side very quickly.
While reviewing your edits, we noted a few other, less serious issues, such as:
- Mentioning critical reception on a work article (VideoGame.Sonic Boom). This is generally discouraged; articles should describe the work, not review it.
- You received notifications for Natter and violation of Examples Are Not Recent, the former of which is also about that Dethroning Moment edit.

Hello. My posting privileges on OTC were suspended after two post thumps. I came off as too abrasive in a political talk and I apologize for it. I'll be more polite and less confrontational about hot-topic issues from now on, and won't let emotions get in the way of this. I would like said suspension appealed, please.

Point 1: Concerning I am unlikely to repeat this mistake, as I do not tend to mess around with Darth and Sugar wiki.
Point 2: There oughta be a link to that in at least the main page of Darth Wiki. I have literally never read this page. Not ever. Didn't know it existed, except as an abstraction that there would logically need to be such a page if it is expected to be followed.
Point 3: I don't know what point 3 is, but there always should be three points to a thing. Ummmm, nope still drawing a blank.

~Jenaiqueserasera: We don't take kindly to Appeal to Worse Problems arguments in OTC. If we let you back, what sort of contributions do you see yourself making? If it's more of that sort of thing in the Women's Issues thread, we ought not to take the chance. Bringing up Sarkeezian is sort of the icing on the cake there.
~Bulmabriefs144: There are no systems in which ignorance is considered an excuse for misbehavior. That you were not aware of the policy doesn't mean you get a free pass for violating it. That said, I'll accept your appeal now that you're not yelling at us. Suspension released.
~Hextar Vigar: Regardless of the type of suspension (other than a full site block), you can always post in this topic so the issue can be settled. When your suspension was initially applied, it was done incorrectly, which was our mistake.

I won't sugarcoat that I'm an antifeminist, at least anti-anything-past-first-wave-feminist, but I won't rudely impose said beliefs nor try to cause trouble with people who see differently.
I definitely won't try to make my posts sound confrontational or rude, designed to cause trouble. I'll debate in good spirits where it arises, and collaborate with like-minded individuals.
Everyone has different opinions in OTC, and I'll respect others' whilst hoping mine are respected as well. Just friendly debate, y'know?

I want to be able to edit the page again, how I can be allowed to do that again? If my bad English grammar is the main reason, how I got to apologize and what's the best solution besides restricting me from editing? I'm not a native English speaker but I'm trying my best.
Second, if I'm allowed to edit and/or make a page again, is there a special place where I can see my editing preview with the entire page layout? Because the "preview" option in the editing page are not allowing you to see some features like the [[note]].

~Hallmon: Suspensions don't undo themselves; you have to come here to talk over the issue. You posted a review of Song Of The South that linked to pirated material. That is absolutely forbidden by our rules; it's one of the "no questions asked" ban reasons along with page vandalism and page blanking.
~Jenaiqueserasera: I'm not going to mince words: we have banned people permanently for expressing those sorts of opinions. If your only interest in OTC is the Women's Issues thread, it might be best for you to remain blocked from it.

That isn't my only interest there. One I might occasionally go in on (I'm not the only one with antifeminist ideas here, and while banning them when rudely expressed is fine, I don't think it'd be justified to ban such users for the sake of banning them). It isn't the only one though. I love debating all sorts of other topics besides that, so it's not like I'll be lurching on that topic and that topic alone.
I sincerely hope though you don't deem non-Liberal opinions as permabannable, though. Not trying to deride you or say that's what you said, but it's the vibe I got.
Regardless, no, Women's Issues is not the only topic I'll go to, but if an argument starts up there, I have picked my side and I'll help said side within said argument. Politely, friendlily, and neutrally.
