This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

, I realized that I was entirely in the wrong in this, and that the suspension was well-deserved.
As I told her, you guys do a very good job of curating the site and keeping it clean and friendly, and it's been a long time, longer than I remember, since I've last found myself facing the kind of situation where the proper response isn't "establish that you're the good guy/the victim/the one who's right and move on" but simply "move on".
It is precisely because of the excellent results of your style of moderation that I won't argue for a shortening of my suspension. I'll trust your judgement on the appropriate length of the suspension, and won't abuse this privilege I've been given to either contest, appeal, or otherwise bug, nag, or beg you about it any further.

I posted in this thread back in late January or earlier February asking about my suspension, and I was informed that it was related to my last edits regarding about some grammar, nattering and indexing issues that I did around before I got suspended. I feel embarrassed about posting in this thread again, especially since it has passed some time after I last posted that, but real life duties came first. I have been improving these issues that got me in trouble in the first place, and I have been looking around the Administrivia pages mostly to not let these happen again, too.
The thing is, that, personally, I think 5 months is enough time for me to be improving and learning on what I did wrong. I want to make it clear that I take full responsibility on what happened before and I promise that this is not going to happen again. I will always verify my own grammar and on how I write my examples, and would post some future edits in the English grammar thread when I'm in doubt.
Or, is there another thing that I can do to get unsuspended?

Mighty Kombat: It's "one moment per troper per work". On a page for a single work, that means "only one entry per troper". But on a a page that covers multiple works, like Web Original does, it's entirely acceptable for a single troper to have dethroning moments for several different works.
The rule is meant to prevent entries like:
- Work
- {troper name} This part. And that part. And this other part. Oh, yeah and when he... But really, the big one was when...
But it's easy to see how you misinterpreted it to mean "only one example per troper, ever", so since you didn't mean harm and you know what not to do now, I'll lift your suspension.
Topov: It's kind of ironic that you lost your temper over Berserk Button.
But it sounds like you get it. I'll give you another chance. Be sure you don't let it happen again. If you find yourself getting emotionally invested in a page, try walking away from the computer for a while, then come back when you're calmer. Suspension lifted; Happy troping.

I think I know what I did to get suspended. I think I was not editing properly and I do remember using first-person perspective on some occasions. There were probably other violations that I evoked that were not of my knowledge. I'm extremely sorry for whatever I did, and I need to teach myself to tread more lightly in the future.

stuffedninja That was what your suspension in January was for. From looking at your edit history, you seem to have been doing a very good job of not making that mistake again. So good on you for that.
What got you called in this time was that you've been making new work subpages without adding them to the proper index. Indexing it is part of making a page. Not indexing it means the page isn't likely to get wicked properly, because very few people will know about it and that someone else has to go back and finish the job. Please take a look at How Indexing Works for both why and how to index a page.

High Roller Hydra: Here's the thing. Pages need to be indexed when they're made. The wiki doesn't work as well with un-indexed pages. So if you can't figure out how to index a page, we can't really let you keep making new pages. If you want to PM me, I'll work with you to help you learn how — it's really not difficult, and I admit that the instructions as they're currently written aren't as clear as they could be. If you do that, once we're both confident that you know how, I'll lift your suspension.

N8han11: It appear that you were operating under the same misunderstanding of the "One moment per troper" rule that Mighty Kombat was. It's "One Moment per Work per Troper." On a page that includes multiple works, it's quite permissible for a troper to have a Dethroning Moment for more than one of the works. There's no reason to say that because someone thinks that <this part> is the lowest point of Game Grumps, that they can't also think that <that part> is the lowest point of The Cartoon Hero.
