It's OK, "reversal of causality" gave me an idea of how lax my suspension of disbelief had to be.
It's a weird feeling, I am perfectly able to accept 'put your hands together, shout, enjoy', but I needed lots of mayonnaise to swallow the justifications here, it was kind of an Uncanny Valley reaction.

What's the difference between mana and prana? One's ambient, and you generate the other within yourself. I can't remember which one's which.

So... I've just started UBW. So far, the opening is much better than the one for Fate, and that has nothing to do with the fact that it features a fight between Archer and Lancer. I've also noticed the presence of that strict professor guy, I wonder if he'll be of relevance.

Lancer gets a lot more characterization imo in UBW. He is awesome. Archer created gar and Unlimited _____ Works but lancer has GAE BOLG!
To be honest, with an immoral enough master, Lancer would be pretty broken, even without all those flashy weapons and abilities that Saber, Archer and GIRUGAMESH! have.

They're all pretty broken, it must be said. This is part of the Nasuverse's problem; nearly everybody has some kind of nifty get-out clause or 11th-Hour Superpower that negates any rule of the verse previously stated and can be used only once in suspiciously specific circumstances...

the thing is, they are usually a last resort, given it's low mana consumption, he could get cheap and start spamming gayballs on his opponent's masters.
Also, I assume the spoilers confirm that, yes, that professor has some relevance, even if it's small.

Lancer is one of my favorite characters. You ask me, he oozes even more cool than Archer.
And I haven't seen anything of Hollow Ataraxia, but I already think Bazett's awesome. I would totally pay for a story featuring the two of them- such as one where Kotomine wasn't such a huge dick, and she and Lancer fought in the war proper.

Well, the article is pretty damn long compared to other anime, except maybe for the When They Cry series whose pages are around that length, IIRC.
At least more people will know about Fate, and Archer's identity is everyone's sled.
