It looks like Vainglorious is going to crash the party.

Is it wrong that I find his mood swings from "brooding edgelord" to "happy dancing ballerina" to be really funny?

Yeah, when are they actually going to get to the plot of him trying to overthrow the Devil.

Well, given that Vainglorius is basically the Trope God of Poseurs, never, but he'll talk a big game.

Sin Fest is like Fairy Tail when it comes to interesting concepts and ideas. They are all wasted on poor writing.

Flipping from "edge" to "happy" is old hat, but flipping right back as the punchline makes it. Vainglorious best Sinner.

I gotta give it to Vainglorious being a character we all wish could show up more often.

Give Fairy Tale this much though, I could totally buy people reading that purely for the women. Can't really say that for Sinfest.

Only longtime fans who have a Bile Fascination still read this or people who actually agree with Tats extreme viewpoints.

Same with Highschool DXD except it's actually you know...good once you get pass the fanservice.

It's so strange that of all possible characters Vainglorious is the one who is still tolerable. All simply because he's fun to watch.

I'm glad Tats turned down the "tortured angsty artist" behaviour and went a lighter route with him.

Since he's a newer character, he has less chances to be ruined.

Not that interested in ass anyways.

I am, but Monique's is nothing even REMOTELY special. But we've already had this discussion, so meh.

Well, both stories were about a boy and a girl who get into wacky hi-jinks that affect their lives. With Sin Fest after October 2011, severing that formula between Monique and Slick.

Ah. A true classic. That said though, anyone who says Shampoo wasn't the best fiancee is a madman, or an Ukyo fan.

I'm primarily a Marry Them All advocate, with Akane as my favored OTP (partly but not entirely because Ranma/Akane is canon), followed by Ukyo and then Shanpu... for the canon ships, that is. If we're included semi-canon ships, Kasumi goes right after Akane and before Ukyo, while Nabiki after Shanpu unless she goes through Character Development that turns her into a much more sympathetic character, whereupon she rises to third place after Kasumi.^note Kasumi and Nabiki count as "semi-canon" because the Saotome-Tendou marriage agreement doesn't actually specify which Tendou girl the Saotome boy should marry.

Kodachi technically counts as a Crack Pairing owing to how she repulses Ranma himself with her insanity, but she'd go after Shanpu if either she snaps back to sanity or Shanpu somehow devolves into a Complete Monster that makes canon!Kodachi look like a saint.

Vainglorious continues to be the best character.

Is this supposed to be a tease about Vainglorious being Big D's illegitimate child? "No! It can't be! That's impossible!" are Luke Skywalker's words following the infamous "I am your father".

I thought L Il E was occupying that spot of being the Devil's illegitimate kid. I guess Vainglorious will be his other child.
