Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Academy: Second Year

Hey man. I dunno about our dear Game Master's approval, but your deck seems fine to me.

I think this may be the wrong time to jump in, though, mainly because all of the characters have benn established and I don't think Sarcastically can adjust his planned plot to fit in another character.

That said, I'd much rather you joined in, and (if you want) I could help you design your character. How about it?

I'm good at coming up with personalities for my characters, but that's about it.

Why can't you use this deck, actually?

Because it was the deck I was using in a Yu-Gi-Oh DS Game, and there wasn't any way for me to shuffle my deck or draw cards without being in a battle against the computer.

Oh you don't need to worry about that; we GM duels based on listing the cards and using a RNG to select which cards you draw. So no need to worry about not having the deck IRL.

Oh, that? That's no issue with us. The way things work here is that when two people/characters duel, a thrid person (or or dear game master) acts as 'duel command'. That person gets ahold of the decklists from this thread, and then uses a randomiser to select the hand and draws and message those to the duelists. (Sometimes SI picks and chooses things, depending on who he needs to win for the plot's sake, but that rarely happens.) I, at least, don't even have half of the cards I use in this roleplay.

In other words, we do this all online and use the Yu Gi Oh wikia to check on rulings/card tips and for getting new deck ideas. You don't actually need to have those cards in real life to play.

That's good, because I've never really had an actual duel with my RL deck.

Cool. I have to warn you, though, because we don't need to search for packs and can basically choose whatever cards we want, our decks tend to be min-maxed out the wazoo.

Sadly, there is a very minimal chance of you getting in now, because, as Inqui said, my plot was set up for ten characters, who have been decided (Giery, Jerry, Anna, Tsuki, Barnaby, Scott, Michael, Ryu, Sean, and Ryoga).

However, as things go, and because of the fact that I like thinking up random plots, there is a possibility of (another) sequel that might happen if certain things happen IRL (mainly if this RP finishes before I get thrown halfway around the world in ~August). Because of said halfway-around-the-world-ness, I won't be able to GM it is the only problem.

And it might not happen in the first place.

BUT! If it happens, I will be sure to PM you.

Oh hey, man. (...Right?)

Just a little question: Could you put an asterisk (shift + 8 on your keyboard) before each of your cards? It makes it a lot easier for the people who put up the decklists for the draws and the like.

Now then. I'm sorry to say, but I think the GM is right in the middle of planning and setting up the storyline with the established characters, and fitting in another person to the storyline could be a bit of a squeeze as is. (There was another guy, just above you, who we also had to ask back for another time.)

Erm. Good news? Well, I'm thinking of doing a quasi-sorta-sequel short roleplay to this, and any person who'd like to come along would be welcome to join in. Whaddaya say?
