The Legend Of Zelda - General Thread

The music's original. Fi's theme is more along these lines.

...Though the versions of the Hyrule Warriors theme seen with Zelda and Impa aren't bad, and the theme used in Fi's trailer was fairly good, I do hope there's a considerable amount of Zelda remixes in the game beside what we've already heard.

Oh I know what Fi's theme sounds like. I just thought the track from her trailer was from something heard further into Skyward. Either way, it's pretty cool.

For the record, I'm currently dealing with moles and bomb flowers for the first time in Skyward, if there's a wonder about how far I've actually gotten.

is it just me, or does the gamecube version of TP look...different (slightly clearer?) than the wii version?

Not sure if it's just you, but it was programmed for the Game Cube first, and they had to flip the entire world over, so it might not have came out as well in the transition overall.

Or it could be your particular copy or Wii. Or your connection. Unless you're playing both on your specific Wii, then I don't know. Got screenshots to compare?

Er, nope to what? Do you mean no screenshots you have? Sorry, the context of your answer left me a little confused.

Anyway, I never played the Wii version so I thankfully don't have to worry about that. I couldn't have played it when I bought it anyway, cause I typically didn't have a Wii yet, but the Wii version was out before the GCN version. I didn't get a Wii till after the GCN version of TP was out. How's that for a twist?

nope no screenshots. i could get screenshots got the gamecube version, but i dont currently have access to my wii so i cant compare

i did find out whats going on though.

PAL version (wii or gamecube) is blurrier than the NTSC version for whatever reason.

Aonuma and a short story about Ocarina and a child.

People can find inspiration from just about anything.

It's those little things that can really make a difference.

I love stories like that. It'd be nice when things like this could be referenced whenever someone tries to bring New Media Are Evil down upon video games.

In other news, here's someone's article about the Princess Zelda and the fact that she NEEDS her own game.

If she does get her own game, I am glad that Zelda will be far less likely to end up in a game that has Unfortunate Undertones like Princess Peach did (I still want Peach to have another game, dammit).

Ohai Wand of Gamelon and Zelda's Adventure

They changed Link's arrows to be high-tech in Zelda Wii U.

So I'm really hoping the Master Sword is a lightsaber now.

You can't really get more high-tech than having the sword be inhabited by a fantasy AI.
