That set off a nice touch of nostalgia for me. Wind Waker was one of the only few Zelda games I've ever owned.

I like how the Master Sword itself is in sepia tone now too. It used to be in color despite its surroundings.

Also, I'm kinda glad they didn't go further than that in the video. The immediate scene after, with Link swinging the sword a few times before looking at it with wonder as it plays the Master Sword theme must be saved for the full game.

I though the Master Sword being in color was actually a nice touch. It's the only hing with any life in it.

But it doesn't have life in it at that point. It's sealed.

Perhaps, but making it also sepia tone makes it feel more like the relic of the past it is, and pulling it out lets it regain its former glory and "awaken". Of course, it turns out to still be pretty much a rusty butterknife until the sages restore its power, but you don't know that yet.

Either one fits well, but I like it now being as stuck in the past as the rest of the castle.

The reveal of what's beneath the Great Sea ought to be one of the finest moments of the game.

Not even Miyamoto knew TWW was going to be cel-shaded.

Aonuma's response to a Majora's Mask remake.

I'd prefer no more remakes. At least not for now. If anything, this Take That! to the fanbase was long overdue.

If it was really meant to be a Take That! at people asking for remakes, it would be rather hypocritical considering he's releasing a remake next month.

Except no he's not. It's a sequel.

It's not a Take That! either.

I think they meant Wind Waker HD, not Link Between Worlds.

Oh. Durr.

OK, OK, my bad, I misinterpreted the quote. XD

He also spoke about HD remakes of TP and SS, but it's too soon to even consider them.

Every time I pulled out the Master Sword and made time flow again in the castle, I looked at all the Mooks walking about with their nice, shiny, steal-able baubles, and thought to myself:

   "Time to go to town."   

One of the best feelings ever in the Zelda series. It's usually after that that I get the Hurricane Spin.

I like torturing the enemies with bombs.

Did you know if you injure Moblins or Darknuts with a bomb, from that point on they'll run away if you pull out another bomb? Moblins in particular will jump and sprint away.

I feel like there were other things I did to the enemies, like getting the Moblins on the second floor to fall down to their deaths.

@beorc's post I don't think it would be a right time to remake Majora's Mask. If they make it the same as the Ocarina remake was, there will be complaints; if make it as an Adaptation Expansion, there will be complaints about not doing the same with the Ocarina remake. Solution: Re-remake Ocarina of Time as an AdaptationExpansion first, then they can focus on Majora's Mask.

I bet he laughed like this.

A year or two after Alb W is released would be a reasonable window for the Majora's Mask remake; though regardless of when it's released, I doubt there'd be much in the way of widespread dissatisfaction at significant improvements to graphics/music/mechanics/script, if only because the fog of UNTOUCHABLE CLASSIC was never quite so thick upon it when compared to its predecessor.

So there I was being the Hero of Time again....

I know there's supposed to be a Magic Bean spot somewhere in Death Mountain Volcano, but I can't seem to recall where, and I can't stay there with Young Link very long before I start running low on time.

Any one recall where it is?
