Figured this would be the best place to ask.

Who does the best Let's Play of Majora's Mask? There's hundreds of them, but who does it best?

Define "best" in this context, cause that statement is really vague.

Have you been watching Game Grumps play MM?

Game Grumps is probably the WORST playthrough of Majora's Mask, because Arin Hansen is an idiot. He refuses to read the text or follow any instructions, then proceeds to blame all his mistakes on the game. The pirates tell him there are four eggs in the Pirate Fortress and three in the eel pit? Arin thinks there are only three eggs total. No matter how much the game spells out what to do Arin will ignore it.

that's probably the major reason why I don't watch the Game Grumps. I'm really not a fan of people blaming the game when its their own fault

I was considering watching Masae's solely for this excerpt:

But are there any better ones? I'm also looking for good microphone quality too.

Gonna play devil's advocate a bit and point out that Arin's usually talking with Dan when he gets info dumped on, so he doesn't get a chance to process what he's been told.

But yeah it's really annoying. I wish they'd drop the game since it's all they've been playing in slot 2 for the past 2 months.

He goes out of his way to avoid ways to make his life easier. Like, he only uses the Song of Soaring half the time, and he always bitches about it whenever he has to walk anywhere. In the pirate fortress you only have to take the long underwater passage once, but he refuses to use the hookshot to avoid the tunnel.

Someone should upload a video of themselves playing Mega Man X, and constantly pointing out all the flaws it has, like how difficult it is to jump and shoot at the same time, how there are jumps that are impossible to make with just the regular jump, how this one boss is impossible to defeat because everyone uses up all their weapon energy for no reason before even getting to the boss, and then finishing with a five-minute rant about how it's bad game design to have to play a level a second time for any reason, especially if it's because you lost all your lives to the boss.

Wow. Why is he deliberately playing so badly?

Not knowing what to do is one thing, but when there are ways to do things that you should know and you seem to ignore them at every opportunity, then you're just fucking around.

Oh, it's not deliberate, he's just dumb as hell. I swear the man has a learning disability. I'm not trying to make a joke here. I'm like 90% sure that he has some legitimate learning disability. He's kind of suggested as much on more than one occasion. He will get a new item, show that he understands how said item works, then a minute later when he has to use the item he's completely forgotten about it. And It's not just Zelda, it's every game he plays.

Arin has said on a few occasions that he has ADHD. And I'm not talking about in his Game Grumps videos, I'm talking about interviews and panels and stuff like that where he's being completely serious.

Masae also had one of the luckiest breaks in LP'ing I've ever seen, where she wins the doggy race track without the mask of truth.

I really don't like the game grumps, mostly because they started a Ty the Tasmanian Tiger Let's Play a few days after I started mine. I doubt it was intentional, and I certainly can't blame all my problems on that, but that was still an offensive coincidence.

No. I'm really adhd, had a lot of trouble drumming up the grit to actually record and upload. I'm close though, three more levels and three more bosses, but without access to my main computer, so I can't even upload the episode I finished editing...

Sorry for the derail. That's really not what the thread topic is.

If we want to go back to great Majora's Mask L Ps, BrainScratch Commentaries has a really good post commentary one. Johnny does a 100 percent playthough, so you could follow it if you needed to.

It also helps having a hilarious moment when Ted ends up predicting the remake when he says it won't.

The hilarity starts at 8:41.

I'm not sure if this is accurate but I read on the bias steamroller page that he has a problem with depth perception. (I'm no expert so take this with a grain of salt)
