The real puzzle of Snowpeak Ruins was figuring out how to approach the Chilfos without getting knocked down a floor.
Story time about said dungeon: when I was looking for the last Small Key, it took me around half an hour of wandering in circles until I noticed that, through a tiny gap in the courtyard, there was a Clawshot target. I remember having to follow the path from a floor below to figure that one out, and even then I was still confused.
In fairness, I should've noticed that whenever I was in the courtyard the little alcove was flashing as well.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You know another good puzzle? The mazes of rising spike fences in Arbiter's Grounds.
Yes, it's almost the same as that maze of rising brambles in the Forbidden Woods in Wind Waker, but it allows you to use your bomb arrows to blow them up and they won't respawn until you leave the room. I like puzzles like that where there is more than one solution.

Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I don't see how invisible mazes are ever good puzzles since, aside from that Dungeon Bypass that I honestly didn't know about, there's no real through in solving them. Well, there's at least some in that one since you actually can see the walls if you pay attention.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Can anyone direct me to an alternate route to get to the other Racing bro near Rosso's route? I am trying to do 65 second, not the 75 seconds.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Okay, I just cleared the Jabu-Jabu dungeon. Man, the camera during the Midboss was ass.
The camera in general in Ocarina of Time was a mess. Granted, it was the first time navigating a 3D environment for a Nintendo game that wasn't Super Mario 64, so they were still working out the kinks for 3D cameras in adventure games. Later Zelda games have since fixed problems OOT had.
@Zelenal: What do you mean by no real thought? You have to be really careful so that you don't keep running into the walls and take damage.
In one particular maze in the Arbiter's Grounds, you have to pull a switch and run across the maze to the exit before it closes.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. That's not thought, that's reaction time. "Oops! Spikes popped up! Better stop holding forward!" The same goes for the one with the game but you're also mashing the A button to roll. Mazes simply don't work very well in anything other than a top down perspective because you're either picking a wall and sticking to it or playing a guessing game until you get lucky enough to reach the exit (not that mazes in Zelda games are large enough to require either of those). The maze minigame in Majora's Mask is a perfect example of this. There is no skill used in solving it, it's pure luck and the only thing that should be luck based is gambling (and even then, only certain types of gambling).
While mazes are certainly a type of puzzle, if you consider the ones presented to us in Zelda to be examples of good puzzles then I really don't know what to say. I was going to recommend good puzzle games but now I doubt that you'd find any of them to be good.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Tone down the hostility, Zel.

Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I will say though, my camera complaints aside, I dig the creativity of the Dungeon Designs.
Was the camera fixed in the 3DS remaster?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I thought it was the same?
Either way, never bothered me. I also loved the 3D dungeons and found the puzzles fun. The only time I ever had any real difficulty(and I don't mean figuring them out, since it was challenging enough) was aiming with sensitive control sticks. Like the Gamecube controller's.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I finally got piece of the heart although I had to 'cheat' to get it.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."There will be three concerts to celebrate the 30th anniversary..... In Japan only.
You know how lackluster this "anniversary" (if there's been any) has been when, in addition to having the next game delayed to next year, Westerners won't even get any special event to enjoy. The only thing that resembles a Milestone Celebration is a very subpar port of Twilight Princess.
It makes me wonder if they're sacrificing too much for the sake of favoring NX.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Nintendo seems to be more for celebrating factors of 25 than other numbers. The 25th Anniversary was quite grand, after all.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!On the other hand, I'd rather have a polished game than a game rushed to meet an arbitrary anniversary deadline.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Sonic Team was pretty obsessed with celebrating every 5th anniversary with a new game for a while up to the 20th. I'm actually really glad they didn't do it this time.
But you know what Nintendo could do right now? They could release HD ports of the 3DS remasters of the N64 games.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.So I've been playing Hyrule Warriors Legends a lot recently, and I've already reached Marin's Lv 4 weapon mission (I think that's the highest she can get with her weapons, everyone else can unlock Lv 4+ weapons on the Koholint map).
Lemme tell you, Lv 4(+) weapon missions are brutal. They're basically my issues with Zelda's (original) Lv 2 Baton mission again xD And the one I'm currently trying to A Rank (Marin's) has the usual shenanigans: you're sandwiched inbetween two factions ( Toon Link and Fire Aeralfos), and everyone having stupid amounts of HP and high attack power, as per usual.
Thanks to the Training Room taking away most of the grinding, Marin's already at Lv 63 for me, and I have her Lv 3 Bell with 4 Stars (that's 392 attack power), its abilities are:
- Strong Attack+
- Combo III
- EXP+
- Slots+
- Hearts+
- Hammer+ (that one was a sealed ability of the weapon, and I don't have enough money left to replace it with something else)
So, my question is, should I keep at it and try to A Rank the mission with what I have going for me here, or should I complete the previous Adventure mode maps first & get Marin to Lv 150 (I think that's the new level cap for Legends)? I'm getting the impression that I should, because I keep getting hit by stupid potshots and some of the bigger enemies don't go down fast enough.
Also, another question: Which mission in Adventure Mode has you fight against Link (the HW one)? I need some of his stuff for Medals

Completed the Forest Temple last night. I like that Dungeon overall, but fuck those Spearpigs in the maze.
IIRC, Biggoron's Sword makes short work of the Moblin spearpigs.

You knock it once to send it swinging. It's way more obvious and less complex considering you just got the Ball and Chain.
