I had a really weird Zelda dream earlier.
I was in a Zelda universe that was sort of a mix of all of them, i guess. While helping link win Epona from Ingo (which was made more difficult because he came after us with a shovel when we won the race—shovels are heavy) I was exploring Hyrule Field and stumbled across one of the many holes in the ground.
Immediately, the view became a lot like ALttP, and the hole was filled with what I later learned were brainwashed fairies. There were TONS of them in the cave, so I got out of there.
After ingo was un-brainwashed he told us about the hole, and said Ganondorf had put something very valuable there. So we went to look at it again and discovered that, for some stupid reason, he'd put part of the Triforce there.
Link got to work attacking all the brainwashed fairies. When he got to about 10 left, though, Gleeok from Zelda 1 showed up. (He's a three-headed dragon. When you destroy his body the heads still attack you). He was in 3D and looked cool, and for some reason he was made of wood. His heads were like tribal masks, sort of.
The cave was too small to fight an enemy that big, so we lured him out of the hole and onto the field.
And then somehow I got stuck on Earth and not Hyrule and had to get back.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I like this idea of Ingo coming at you with a shovel. Didja kill him?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Nah, Link just knocked him out.
The Protomen enhanced my life.in TP why did the moblins kidnap the children? they seem surprised by the twili portals so i dont think they're working for zant, and ganondorf is in the twili realm at the time...
Maybe it's just what they do?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerMaybe they were just hungry.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Maybe they are just assholes.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm pretty sure they worked for Zant (and by extension Ganondorf) the entire game, they just hadn't seen the portals until that point.
and...
why did zant/ganondorf order them to kidnap children from ordon? seems kinda random.
Cause Zant/Ganondorf is an asshole.
Right. I'm not sure if it was stated in game, but considering that one dud said that people attacked by the shadow creatures become them, it's possible they were being.....recruited.
One Strip! One Strip!Maybe they had the general location of the Triforce of Courage and just ordered them to fuck shit up?
i dunno, the shadow creatures finding the triforce of courage seems kinda incidental to the whole "consume and assimilate" thing (which isnt very consistant) (come to think of it, the triforce thing isnt consistant either, since in this timeline neither link nor dorfy should have it yet)
why they'd recruit moblins to assimilate more humans into shadow beings doesnt make a lot of sense either, since the cutscene with link showed a shadow beast most likely trying to assimilate the one child who wasnt kidnapped (followed by it being repelled by the triforce) and not a single person actually kidnapped by them experienced that anyway.

TP 3DS streetpass? Probably fake.

...meh.
While I don't mind remakes, I think remaking Twilight Princess so soon is a bit much. It's not like Xenoblade, where few had a chance to even play it. It is one of the best selling games for the Wii and for the franchise as a whole.

Persona 3 Portable LiveblogWhat bothers me is they should have switched around the TP 3DS version and the WW HD remake if they're going to do both.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. It's 10 year anniversary of TP next year in Japan(also Pokémon generation 4).
And obviously fake.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.TP would benefit more from a Wii U HD remake like Wind Waker, I would think, rather than a 3D version.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! As long as they tone down the Skulltulas for a TP remake, I'll be OK. -shudders-
TP's graphics may not have aged well, but those fuckers still give me nightmares.
I feel ashamed for admitting that I don't play TP anymore because of the Skulltulas.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."tp is a weird case where the spiders do not trigger my arachnephobia.
and yet the skulltulas in SS did at one point, weirdly enough.
The ones in TP are a bit less overt with the theme- They just have a skull-like pattern formed on their thoraxes instead of properly ridged bits that take the shape of a monstrous skull like elsewhere.
I think the ones in SS had a slightly more realistic crunch to 'em, too. Though I never really examined them much, since I worked out the flip-them-over-and-fatal-blow combo for them pretty fast.
I sure said that!Personally, of all the skulltula designs, the OOT ones freak me out the most.
Something about the fact that they dangle vertically and you can't tell they're spiders at first glance makes them so much worse.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I think it's the fact that they're so big in TP is what makes me so TERRIFIED of them.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."
So I just did the first Adventure Mode map. Not bad. I should have been doing this before, but I just beat the main story (and just flubbed Cia's first story level) so I decided to give it a try. Got more to do, but I'll give it a shot. Also have to collect more Skulltulas.
Edit: Turns out, doing the story mode first was a smart move, as I learned on the Warriors thread.
Anyway, I'll be alternating between this game, The Wonderful 101, Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate (which I have not played in a long while), Mario Kart 8, A Link Between Worlds, Shin Megami Tensei IV, and Fire Emblem Awakening.
I got a lot of work to do.
Oh. I forgot Wind Waker HD.
