You'd never even make it to phase 2. Phase 1 would kill you immediately.

I still don't think TP Link was descended from Malon. Shouldn't his hair be redder instead of being as blond as the rest of 'em if that were the case?

I think it existed before that.

There are a few generations for his hair to turn blond. He's also a reincarnation of the original hero that fought alongside Hylia. He looks just like him so there might be some magic at work that affects his appearance.

Link's hair in Twilight Princess isn't as blonde as it was in Oo T it was almost brown in Twilight Princess if I remember correctly.

As far as I know red hair is a very recessive hair color, which is why it's so rare, so having a single red-haired parent doesn't really guarantee you'll have redder hair.

That's true. In fact, it only marginally increases your chances.

I remember when we first got the reveal that Ruto was in Hyrule Warriors. My first reaction (and the first reaction of a lot of people here that I recall) was "Gosh, she's pretty."

Ruto is an exteremely charming fish.

I'm sad that image didn't give her another set of glasses on her other set of eyes, though.

Oh, I'm sure Malink the ship was around before that. But I think that's the point where Link went "when I get back to Hyrule I should look Malon up." And Meganekko Ruto is cute.

Who cares what Ruto actually is? She's still cute.

I remember when I first played Ocarina of Time my reaction to Link's reaction to Ruto's proposal was basically "Oh come one dude, she's super cute!" Obviously it didn't occur to me, as a, like, eight year old that twelve is way too young to get married. And also fish-lady might be kinda... gross.

The only thing about Link/Ruto that's set in stone is that Nintendo ain't touching the particulars with a twelve foot fishing pole. And they probably aren't going to make any outright multispecies marriages, either. Doesn't mean the Anthro-fans can't squee when a cute pic comes out.

Blasphemy. I must now burn you.

Just for the record, if I absolutely had to choose (because I don't really care), I suppose I'd say that Link/Ruto is my favorite OoT couple. Link/Medli would be my WW ship by virtue of Medli being my favorite character.
