More manga than anime, but a lot of Hourou Musuko fans seem to completely miss the point.
Other than that, I try to avoid most of the anime fandom.

I agree with whoever mentioned them about the Hetalia and Bleach fandoms.
Heaven doesn't want me, and Hell's afraid I'll take over.@Sporkaganza: If the Livejournal Durarara kink meme is any evidence, yes, the Durarara fandom is definitely way too obsessed with Shizaya.
=____=; But I admit I have favorited Shizaya artwork before...
Tumblr here.I can understand why they're obsessed with it. Shizuo and Izaya are two of the coolest characters on the show - and with a cast like that, that's saying a lot.
I personally like Celty the best, though.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone. It's all Shizuru-Natsuki, Shizuru-Natsuki, Shizuru-Natsuki, Shizuru-Natsuki, Shizuru-Natsuki, Shizuru-Natsuki, at nauseam. With the occasional remembering Nao exists.
Now, I like Natsuki. And Nao too, kinda. But still...
Heh, there's even a small hatedom for that pairing on MAL.
In any case, Natsuki and Nao are probably the two most interesting characters on that show. Maybe add in Mai. And between them, Nao is probably the most interesting.
In any case, back on topic, I don't like being mistaken for a Rei fetishist or an anyone-Evangelion fetishist just by being an Evangelion fan, but that fandom is so broken it doesn't really matter much.
I used to be a Pokémon fan until I stopped following the series, but during that time I did notice the berth between high-school-age kids and their little siblings who played the games, and I tried to reconcile the two by being a non-dork fan. Not like that got anywhere, as it was overshadowed by all sorts of other high school social details.
@Durarara: Mikado and Anri are win. Moe, moe win. And on the matter of Shizaya, everyone knows Izaya's repressing something. Whether it's love or just more hatred is debatable.
On topic, I haven't really been that bugged by many fandoms but Bleach and Naruto's are beginning to irk me lately.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI will never for the life of me understand this kind of logic.
Also, I find the whole Shizaya racket hilarious in its fervor; being rather out of touch with the fandom is not a Bad Thing.

And these, my dear ladies and gentlemen, is why I stay far, far away from most international anime communities.

WARNING: This troper is a severe monomaniac. Caution is advised.Suzumiya Haruhi fans, especially the ones who edit our tropes page for it, who just can't accept that it plays tropes straight.
In their mind, Haruhi is a Deconstruction of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl (because at first she annoys the protagonist, like every other MPDG ever), Yuki is a subversion of the Emotionless Girl, (because she is only emotionally repressed, like every other Emotionless Girl ever), etc. And Kyon Is God.
De gustibus non est disputandum.Yeah, you're right about that one. I'm a fan and I'll admit that's true. Hell, I do it sometimes.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.I usually keep myself far away from manga/anime fandoms, but I must say, I've had some pretty bad experiences with some obnoxious italian One Piece fans. Don't know how the US fandom is like, though. Same with the US (?) Naruto fandom (Narutofan and the likes), I went there to look for some spoilers and... christ.
I used to hate KonoSetsu shippers for Negima and I kind of hate people who ship Yue and Negi...
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could drink you under the table~K-ON.
Edit: Oh god wait a sec, I didn't even read the thread title. Why the hell would I like K-ON? I just hate the fanbase and the show.

Digimon. They keep ragging on savers which was my fave.
A wish is never free.^^^ Most Negima shippers I have met are actually way cool people. Sure, the amount of Kono-Setsu stuff is too high compared to everything else we could get from the series, but at least they are mostly nice about it, and Die for Our Ship is not as prevalent as it is in other fandoms.
Why would you hate Kono Setsu shippers? It's not like the canon doesn't ship tease them to hell.
...plus, with the latest chapter, showing Setsuna's Lotus-Eater Machine involves Konoka in a naked apron, combined with their longer than necessary pactio with tongue, I think that it's reasonable for Negima readers to ship them together. It's the most "canon" pairing that involves a student of some sort.
Oh, I don't have any problem with Kono-Setsu, although I personally prefer Setsuna with Asuna. My only tiny beef with it is it just takes too much of the fanworks while leaving little room for everything else, but that's hardly the canon's fault.
In any case, at least it's sweet and lacks the obsessive, creepy underlines of Shizuru-Natsuki.
Also, why would you hate Negi/Yue shippers? It's been made explicit that Yue DOES have a crush on Negi, so it's not entirely implausible.
Though, of course, shipping ANY pairing with Negi is going to be problematic because of the nature of the series and the fact that practically every single character in the manga is in love with him.

Probably Haruhi fans. Some can't accept that, although the MC is God, the show is not. They also tend to bash other shows (particularly K-On!) for the lulz.
Everything is better as a Dunkleosteus....The MC?
Oh, Main Character. I thought you meant, like, an emcee.
Also way to leave it ambiguous as to which one you meant. Are you one of the Kyon-theorists, by any chance? :P
By the way, even if you meant Haruhi, that's still not strictly true. It's said by some people in the show that she could be, but it's never actually stated. As for right now, it's still just Fanon.

Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.Off the top of my head, the Fan Dumb fighting over the various Gundam continuities gets on my tits pretty quickly.
They give birth astride of a grave, the light gleams for an instant, then it's night once moreOh, I don't want to deny Shizaya * fans their fun. It's just when that's pretty much the only thing I can find that it get's annoying. Translation: Sparkysharps is a sad, lonely little Shizuo/Tom fan.
Die for Our Ship much? Haha, just joking.
I do think that the Foe Yay between the two is very much deliberate on the author's part, especially with the lampshading and everything. I know what you mean about it getting annoying if that's all you see in the fan base though. I've personally stopped reading fanfiction/doujin etc so I really couldn't care less, personally.
It is?
Well, the TV Tropes Fora fanbase for Durarara!! is really awesome, so I wouldn't know.
