I didn't expect Solas to be romanaceable at all. I figured he'd be a little old. They still haven't announced Varric and I'll just be pouting in my fangirl corner.
I used a lot more variety in my spells in 2 than Origins. I really liked using all those force mage spells as Ao E. I did use cold of cone quite a bit, but I don't think as heavily. It's a life saver in the battle with the Arishok.
Varric was announced as unavailable earlier.
Damnit. Oh well. I guess I'll be riding the bull.
Now it's just a question of mage or rogue.
Multiplayer characters will have banter with each other! For example, the Reaver and the Templar won't get along with each other.
So we can have players with mics slagging each other off, as well as the characters doing it in the game? Great.
A sample conversation.
Reaver: "1v1 me irl, faggot."
Templar: "Google Ron Paul, faggot liberal scum whore"
Mage: "Astroturf, you know who's responsible for that? The Jews."

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."There'd better not be voice chat then XD
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw."Yo mama so fat, Gray Wardens mistaken her for a Broodmother!"
You know what the best type of mage is? One who wears heavy armor and carries a big sword. The fact you can't be a blood mage or an arcane warrior has me a little miffed. More games need some variation of a fist mage. lol
lolWait there's going to be multiplayer?
Yes.lol

lolThe multiplayer reminds me of Gauntlet, or maybe a self-contained version of dungeon runs in World Of Warcraft or another themepark MMO. If the combat is satisfying it could be pretty fun.
What makes a good man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality? It's basically like a self-containe Diablo, I think.
It actually sounds pretty fun.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Knight Enchanter is basically Arcane Warrior.
Umbran Climax◊Bit of a derail, but the DA:I YMMV page is already turning into a mess, especially the Broken Base/Base Breaker (Why are those seperate?) and related bits. It's like a painstaking archive of imported drama from BSN. Trying to decide if it's acceptable to prune, or if we really want all that. It feels too early to have real, actual base breakers-the game isn't even out yet. It's just bitching.

I'd agree. I'd say that the ones that have actually made news (i.e. The Homosexual Romance controversy) are the only ones worth mentioning.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I say nuke it.
It's your God, they're your rules, you go to hell." - Mark TwainI say keep it. YMMV pages are either about gushing or bitching, in general.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."Yeah, I feel none of the YMMV items aside from the homophobic BSN tears about Sera are worth mentioning anyway.
You'd best find an actual reason to get rid of that stuff beyond you personally disagreeing with it being there, because that's all I detect at work here.
The fact that it's extremely nattery? The fact that the game isn't out yet to actually tell? The fact that it lists ever example of fans being upset, when that isn't what Broken Base is?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Jesus, I just said find a good reason so you can cover your ass first. Don't whine at me over this.
I'm not whining. You asked for reasons, I gave them to you.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Good. Have fun.
Not seen too much flame since Cassandra was announced as a straight romance. I just go to Tumblr for pictures of Bridget Regan, anyway, so I'm not exactly a fucking sleuth. Still, this is the first I've heard of people being upset about Solas.
Think he will talk quickly? In short sentences? *sharp breath* Could be amusing.
