to 1.2. It doesn't really look like in 1.1. that they're not in a school setting, something which is obvious in the other image.
Discombobulate.1.2.
back lolThe problem with 1.2 is there's nothing "uniform".
You gonna eat that?Carrying this suggestion over from a duplicate thread.
Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.Title needs to be changed to School Uniforms are the New Black.
(didn't mean to duplicate; didn't see this one due to the title issue.)

I know more about obscure 1990s Middle Grade Literature novels than most people. No pic for now. 1.1 doesn't make it obvious that they're not in school, 1.2's uniforms aren't really uniform, and 7 doesn't look like a school uniform at all.

I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.Them being uniform with each other is not a requirement of the trope, just them being in school uniform. So them being from separate schools is fine.
1.2

This Inuyasha calendar art? Clearly Sailor Fuku, surrounded by fantasy-Japanese characters, and it's winter.
i think that works.
Sure, let's get some Inuyasha rep.
It encapsulates the concept of wearing a uniform in an impractical context.
Didn't know hollers worked for that too. Thanks Synchronicity.
I know more about obscure 1990s Middle Grade Literature novels than most people.13.
back lolI still prefer 1.2 I like that the fantasy elements are armor bits on top of the school uniforms themselves.
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.13
I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.1 and 13 are both good.
I'll put down my vote for 13.
You gonna eat that?I actually think the opposite. I've seen Rayearth but sans context the fantasy details make it more difficult to make out that they're actually schoolwear.
Crown Description:
School Uniforms Are The New Black
I think this works better because it shows two distinct uniforms, but in such a way that it shows that everyone is wearing them. As such, it fits the idea of School Uniforms are the New Black.
Two school represented, but not in school, and with over half-a-dozen people.
