What should we do with examples that involve comparisons made though advertising? For example, the first examplein the Anime & Manga folder:
- The Big O was advertised on [adult swim] as "Batman: The Animated Series with Humongous Mecha."
The series isn't actually an example, but would the comparison made through promotion still count on its own? There's also this example from Films - Live-Action, which is similar:
- Cracked pointed out
that Real Steel is basically Paper Moon with Motion-Capture Mecha.

Ages ago, Recycled In Space was turned into a JFF page while the trope became Recycled with a Gimmick. However, there's still over 3K Recycled In Space wicks that need to be dealt with. It was agreed to start a clean up thread for the purposes of mobilizing the movement. We may also want to tackle the JFF page too, which has at least 2K wicks of its own.
