That or they set up their own demise. Nearly all of Vox's plans have backfired so far, while all three have had the effect of helping Hazbin in some way.

Well, he won't actually show up "in the flesh" or anything. He will just possess "Kitty the Robot" that Valentino has and have it drag him down deeper into Hell while "preparing the punishment" in the meantime.

Also, breaking all of the contracts Valentino have over everyone else in the process.

I just noticed that during Charlie's play in "Radio Killed The Video Star" Angel is wearing a hat and four-armed trenchcoat, and the coat is visibly beat up and covered in bloodstains. Are these hand-me-downs from his brother, teasing a future appearance from him? Who else would have a trenchcoat with at least four arm holes?

That would be a nice little detail.

I would rather see just Velvette get redeemed. Vox's grudge with Alastor and love for known piece of shit Valentino are going to fuck him over.

Vox also just seems like a really self destructive villain. In his first episode alone his temper and spite repeatedly bit him in the ass.

Him bringing Sir Pentious into Hazbin to sabotage it before Alastor can be a threat to their business is reeking more and more of Self-Fulfilling Prophecy.

I see him more liable to fall to his own vices and poor planning than be redeemed, though may have a hint of tragedy depending on what exactly his beef with Alastor is. Were they legit friends at some point, or could Vox just not take someone saying "no" to him?

Yeah, it does seem interesting that in the rivalry of Vox and Alastor, I weirdly sympathize more with Vox.

I didn't think it was possible to make the song even more terrifying but just adding Val's voice is enough to turn into S-tier Nightmare Fuel.

I was worried for a second it would be an April Fools joke (which would be fun for about any song other than Poison). However, I was pleasantly (well maybe that's the wrong word, but it's really good) surprised.

On one hand it’s correct that Odalia would fit into role of Lute. On second hand it is still great insult to Lute to be compared to Odalia Blight.

I wonder how Alastor planned to defeat Adam, he had access to angel weapons but he wasn't using them in the fight. I could see Alastor thinking he's strong enough to not need them.

He may have wanted to humiliate Adam as much as possible and then incapacitate him before going in for the kill with an angelic weapon.

Hey, if anyone deserved extreme humiliation, it's Adam.

Maybe Alastor is just an overconfident idiot whose facade collapses the second he squares up against any real power. It would certainly be fascinating if Charlie were able to latch on to that instead of letting him walk all over her as the series goes on.

It was in that moment, Alastor showed that he got something in common with Sir Pentious in the snake's appearance in episode 2.

Picking fights with people way over their weight-class while expecting to win it with theatrics and little to no back-up plan.

And even back in Episode 2, the difference between the two would be that Sir Pentious didn't run away even when beaten as he opted for a sneak-attack while getting blasted one last time for his troubles while Alastor just straight up ran away.

Which also made me realize the possible reason for Adam taking Sir Pentious' blimp and charging death-ray so seriously in the final episode.

Think about it, Sir Pentious before the battle had upgraded his tech with Angel-tech to make it effective against the angels. Who can claim that he didn't do the exact same thing with his death-ray?

You know, what with Alastor being an Expy of Dr. Facilier, it would make tremendous sense for him to be a second-rate con man who only succeeds by preying on those weaker and less clever than himself and whose overconfidence in his own skills has lead to him being in severe debt to a higher power.

Adam does say "Phew. That could've been ugly." after zapping Pentious.
