I mean with a show this long and what I'm guessing is a cast that's revolved quite a bit, maybe just make the page image the logo with no people.

That text is right on the edge of invisible in Night Vision mode. It needs outlines or a background.
Fixed the title. Rather than “most recent”, there a good season 1 poster? For these shows with casting turnovers, I think it can be more illustrative from a “what can a new viewer expect?” type of a perspective.

If we use the very first image, I heavily suggest cropping it to get rid of the massive amount of empty space at the top and bottom.
If we're open to just being with the "Core Four," I have a couple suggestions using screen shots.
This is the coverart used for the Season 19 DVD. It does include Gibbs (who left the show) but he's the mascot of the show, so I can see keeping him in.

On the other hand, I feel it should have some sort of collage with former and current cast members but I'm not sure if that's allowed here or not.
