Thought we did.
It's an unofficial fan poster (source).
While nice, I would rather use something official for a work page instead.

Ah, didn't know that.
I do think there should be a better way to deal with this kind of prerelease image posting because I don't know if all of a sudden, we'll get a brand new official poster just as we're wrapping this discussion.
I imagine it would probably be best to just use a teaser or logo image until the work actually comes out, at which point all posters would have as well, and so there would be no worry in picking an image just for a better poster to come out the next day.
"Squid has to go to market. He's had to go to market for as long as he's sucked water."Yeah, keep current until we get a good official poster.
Keep the current for now
I'd feel better about the current if it weren't a black "Spider-Man" against a black background.
Uh… weak keep.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Weak keep, not because it's good but because as a placeholder it's good enough. Seeing a new thread to update the image for an unreleased work only for it to be replaced again in the next wave of hype is annoying and repetitive. At least wait until there's an official poster or two, let's not have four or more threads on the same movie before anyone has even watched it.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableCrowner's hooked. Not considering the fanmade poster.
I guess I prefer the current.
Votes bump; one in the green right now.
Good point. Since the crowner is already overwhelmingly in favor of keeping the current, and that thread's pic came out after this one started, I'm going to close this early so dicussion can be moved to that thread.
Crown Description:
Spider Man Across The Spider Verse
So when the second trailer popped up yesterday, the official Twitter page for the film updated their banner to what is effectively a teaser poster for the film. Which I went ahead and cropped into the image below.
While it's admittedly not great since it is horizontal, I like to suggest it as a tentative image (until we get a proper poster) since it is still more interesting than the current image, which is just a logo against a black background.
