That's a bug, not a watermark. That being said, I'm not sure how illustrative the image is.
Maybe the Boiling Rock from Avatar: The Last Airbender? (Here's the source◊ if anyone wants to try a different crop)
I don't feel the current is illustrative. I'm also unsure about, though I do prefer it over the current (in terms of how well it represents Deadly Environment Prison).
Current is unclear, 3 is marginally better, but still a bit unclear about the prison part.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.That's pretty good.
First, it's too dark. Second, I'm not sure if it illustrates the trope. the trope is about a prison that doesn't need to be securely guarded because the environment prevents inmates from escaping. This image shows a cage over a volcano instead.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.It's a plot point that it's not that securely guarded, because anyone would have a hard time escaping a cage over a volcano.
6 looks more like a Tailor-Made Prison to me.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"That looks like something out of a pedestrian's nightmares.
Here's a few ones from the Citadel Prison located on Lola Sayu, in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. For context, the planet itself is a hell world with half of the crust missing. Even escaping the prison is a death sentence unless you have a ship to leave on.

In theory I like Boiling Rock the best so far, but the crop doesn't have enough contrast so the prison structure blends into the island. So failing that, 10, followed by 11.2 (looks more like a prison than the others because of the watchtower with ground-pointed searchlights and the detention-camp layout).
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI feel, so far at least, 11.2 is the best option.
I'm noticing a trend towards showing a prison as The Alcatraz more than a Deadly Environment Prison. They can overlap, but the key feature here is that security can afford to be lax because the environment will do the work for them. I don't see that in a lot of the images. 11 has spotlights monitoring the periphery, 6 has guards patrolling the area.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"How do you indicate that it's a prison (and not just a harsh survival situation) without at least some elements of prison security?
...
Orange jumpsuits and forced labour?◊
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThat looks promising, but I don't think it would look good in wikisize.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Crowner's hooked.
Votes bump, three in green and one in consensus range.
One more bump; still three in the green.
It's good for the (extremely deadly!) environment!
"With these conditions, the least of your worries will be the inmates..."
Due to unfortunate events, i will continue to exist until further notice. (also i'm fluid now)No consensus on a caption, closing.
Crown Description:
Deadly Environment Prison
Watermark is visible. Image is also really dark and difficult to make out.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?
