Hehe, as someone who knows me is aware, I simp hard for Marie-Antoinette. Been simping for her for around two years now. I don't know why I simp for her but it's probably some neurodivergent reason or something.

The line between "comfort character" and "character I simp for" is ambiguously thin, most "fave characters" of mine tend to be ones I've simped for (but not always). Sometimes it feels like if I think about any character long enough I can simp for them, though the odds are higher if they're conflicted (moreso for internal conflict), monstrous (yes), or both.
I guess I could make a bunch of lists to see where the lines between how I like certain characters goes. It's just that the idea sounds so silly at the moment. Maybe another time.
