Yeah, that's a pull.
I definitely lean on removing the image altogether.
And yeah, it might just be too hard to illustrate unless someone makes a comic about it or something.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."Not to mention, this oughta be NRLEP, and fictional examples are hard to come by.
I recall seeing a mention of this in WesternAnimation.Bojack Horseman from it's entry on Murder by Inaction (it was discovered he let someone OD, and he became a social/professional pariah as a result).
"Get me a gun, I'm a soldier; but put me in that suit and I'm a superhero." - Gunnery Sgt Roberta "Bobbie" Draper MMC...why should it be NRELP? That’s the essence of the entire trope.
Anyways, pull.

back lolFair point, though that is why it's listed as trivia, not trope. As such, I don't think the page image (if any) should be any one real life example, because ROCEJ and flame-bait risk. A fictional example would be ok.
"Get me a gun, I'm a soldier; but put me in that suit and I'm a superhero." - Gunnery Sgt Roberta "Bobbie" Draper MMCRecycle it.
(Annoyed grunt)It's not NRLEP, it's trivia, but myself and others have pointed out before that there's rampant misuse. Some tropers just seem to love cataloguing people who got fired over some scandal, even if those people are not creators. We already cut a bloated /Politics page.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Bumping. Any other opinions about the image?
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallIt can go. The idea of a magazine/newspaper cover is sound tbh, but current is not illustrative at all.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Reiterating opposition to using real life examples. I don't watch Bojack Horseman, but I'll try and find a usable version of the example I described above.
"Get me a gun, I'm a soldier; but put me in that suit and I'm a superhero." - Gunnery Sgt Roberta "Bobbie" Draper MMCx2 This trope is literally almost nothing but Real Life examples so that's a really odd position to take.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? This is trivia, not a trope. It discusses behind the scenes reasons for changes in characters and casting, so it's technically all about real life happenings.
I agree with using newspaper/magazine covers, but am having trouble finding actual examples. Many of the high profile ones are easiest found on websites (which we have done before like on I Am Not Pretty):
But can't say I like it too much.

Maybe? My problem with it is that it's the image, not the headline, that immediately catches my attention.
For this page, it's OK to find a real life example, but an in-universe one would good either, provided that the image is obvious enough.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I'm just gonna suggest BUPKIS on this, given that using a real life example would probably crash directly against the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Maybe one that's actually a misdemeanor, like Jamie Waylett (Crabbe) being dropped from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows after being charged with cannabis possession.

Keet cleanupI think we can still use a Real Life example if there’s at least one of these factors in play:
- Little controversy around the misdemeanor (as in there’s not many disagreements or debates about whenever the person is guilty or not)
- The act that led to the end of the person’s career is something that anyone can say is bad (such as rape, murder, etc; anything political would probably be ROCEJ-violating)
- The event occurred a significant period of time in the past

back lolFor the record, the BoJack entry mentioned above comes in the last season and is a massive spoiler, plus there's nothing that'd illustrate it.
I can go with 14. I don't know why we're so hesitant to use real life images when this is a trivia item about real life. Some examples might be more controversial than others, but the crux of the item is the objective truth that somebody lost their job over certain controversy. Whether we agree with the decision doesn't matter.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Because we'd rather avoid Flame Bait, which is a crux of this website.
That said, the Jeffrey Tambor image is not even good on aesthetic merits. Might as well just copypaste the online article into the trope page.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."I agree with , in that if a real life event can go to the example list, then it should be usable as an image too (provided the image actually does illustrate trope, of course). I don't think ROCEJ rules should differ for the two cases. However, 14 just doesn't look good. Fictional examples would be better if we can find it, but if not, there should be no problem with a real life one.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Bumping. I think I could find a better image than the Tambor one.
Maybe Louis C.K. getting his show cancelled? Don't like that one but I don't know what to use.

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI'd like to use a tabloid image, albeit one that's more illustrative than the current, if only because there's more visual interest than an article screenshot.
I also found this news screenshot◊ which explains the situation, but it's pretty much text-reliant.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Yep, that's practically JAFAAC, as you could replace the text with anything else, and it would make exactly as much sense.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.^ That's a pretty high standard which we don't always seem to adhere to. I am thinking of the screenshots from The Colbert Report or things like Word of Gay or Hollywood Hype Machine.

The picture does not illustrate the trope well on its own, only showing a NY Post cover of Tiger Woods following a major scandal, without saying whether that led to him being fired (which is said, but only in the caption.)
I can't think of any alternative images myself for this trope, and I believe it could be potentially hard to illustrate.
