So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

- March's birthday is Jerome Flynn, an actor and vocalist who has been known for his roles in Game of Thrones, Soldier Soldier, and Ripper Street. He's currently fighting to have a complete list of roles, as well as a refined description that also touches into his singing career.
On a horror content binge, so added Chezzkids Archive to the "needs a page" section.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt's the 24th aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Leading candidates
- Our Demons Are Different: It's been quite the trend to give all the Our Monsters Are Different subtropes new images, and I liked this one because not everything has to be a collage. Our Kobolds Are Different's idea is good too, but the crowner's pending.
- War Refugees: Mini comic, I love these! Might give it a read if I have time.
Honorable mentions
- Master of the Mixed Message: Funny, but not particularly interesting.
- Forever War: Also funny, but the source comic is funnier.
- Benevolent Abomination: Probably the funniest of the three, but I've done enough Gag-per-Day Webcomics.
- Benevolent A.I. and The Gambler: The Ghibli art style is so nice, and so is Cuphead's, for that matter.
- Slave Galley: Funny caption + eye candy. But not good enough to win.
- Simple, yet Awesome: I like the framing on this one.
Oh also, Men Are Uncultured has an image suggestion from Blacksad, and I could pick it just for that, but it might not get picked and might take until next month. If I'm wrong about that, add it to the "leading candidates" pile.

I'd like to apologize for all this.I personally lean to the War Refugees image.
Pantheon Wick CleaningYeah, War Refugees is a solid pick; the text in the image helps.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI will need to look through the TRS morgue and other threads so we don't have only two items in the changelog. Luckily I have tomorrow off, so I can do the check then on my desktop.
Otherwise, we are now missing a creator spotlight, a project spotlight, and a work and trope that need help. Any tropes to add to the first section to pad it out will also be welcome.
Edit: Changelog is now fleshed out some more.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI have a couple of suggestions:
For a trope that needs help.
- Title sequences come in a variety of forms, some brief, some animated, and some more luminous. Those iconic intros in which the work's title is made of lightbulbs or a glowing font? That's Pull the Plug on the Title, which unfortunately is a dying star with only 25 wicks since 2009. If the story is ending, mischievous characters are prone to plugging it off or worse, chew the cable until the energy goes out!
For creator spotlight.
- Many regard Academicism as the most boring of the art movements. No soul, all technique. Yet, the most famous of its proponents is also the one who rebelled the most against it in his youth. Meet Alexandre Cabanel, the French painter who produced The Fallen Angel—a rage-filled portrayal of the devil with all the beauty of an Academic painting and all the emotion of a Romantic one.

Here there be cats. Both look good to me.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm good with those.
As for Work for Pages Needing Help, It's a White Tomorrow, Team Rocket!, as a play on White Day in Japan?

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportSounds good to me.
Edit: Any thoughts on here?

She/Her | Currently cleaning N/ALooks good to me; I'd just add a noun to the last sentence: "Despite AOL Kids shutting down in 2013 and the series having a lot of lost episodes, you can still help add more to the page." I think that would be more grammatically correct, right?
Here there be cats.Huh, I'm kinda new here. After proposing an entry and it getting some approval, do I add it to the Trope Report Dummy Edition? Or is that someone else's job?
On that matter, posting some guidelines for newbies would be great in the OP.
Here there be cats. You can go ahead and add your entries, yeah.
Feel free to give yourself a contributor bio, too, if you want.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWill do, thanks.
Here there be cats. You put Cabanel in the wrong section. Fixed.
I'd like to apologize for all this.Thanks.👍🏽 What do the others think?
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔- It's a White Tomorrow, Team Rocket! is a radio drama spinoff of the Pokémon original anime series. The show focused primarily on the villainous team, Team Rocket, and features a character exclusive to the radio show, Mondo, who is a trainee and a huge fan of Jessie, James, and Meowth. Before the page can blast off at the speed of light, one must denounce the evils of long descriptions and extend the trope example count to the stars above.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportOne more feedback, and I'll add this page image.
