Sandbox for this Project: TLP Adoption Drive
Per Let's Improve the TLP
, this project thread aims to tackle good-condition drafts (ie. a solid concept, a good description, and a decent number of examples) that have been declared Up for Grabs, either directly by their sponsor or via the two-month rule. These drafts ideally just need some more TLC by a willing and capable sponsor before launch.
Feel free to bring drafts that you think could be adoptable to the Sandbox. This thread is for the purposes of discussion regarding the sandbox, as well as existing drafts — whether they are good-quality enough to be adoptable, getting them adopted, and what needs to be done about them before launch. (Unworkable and low-quality drafts should be brought to the TLP Discard Project instead.)

If it's Up For Grabs due to inactivity or the sponsor confirmed a lack of interest in continuing to sponsor it (which means they put it UFG themselves), then go ahead.

Debating if I want to claim De Facto Leader or not. It's a pretty solid draft that just needs a sponsor. I'm mentioning it here in case someone else decides to go for it (no harm no foul if you do, I'm very indecisive lol)

You really just announce your intent to adopt it (and it may be a good idea to state somewhere that you officially did). From there, you just have to do the remaining work to get it launch-worthy.

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to make sure I do this right. As long as I add "Adopted by dragonwing7" to the draft's title, I'm all good? I messaged selkies and asked for their permission, but I haven't gotten a response.

You can also add it in the draft's laconic.
Or simply post in the comments section that you've adopted it. This is the one thing I do whenever I adopt a draft, actually.
EDIT: Also, if the draft has been inactive for more than two months, then the draft is considered to be Up For Grabs and the original sponsor no longer has any custody about it.

How do I unadopt a draft?

Why's Bubbly Blonde on hold?
I have an example, and if I want to use it, I guess I gotta grab it. If I do, I'll restrict it to examples where there's a clear design reason, like Blonde, Brunette, Redhead, or my other Petriculture example of an Artificial Human, or like Sailor Moon, where all the Senshi have non-human, Anime Hair colors, so it's not just genetics, therefore allowing Naruto, and My Little Pony, etc.
Maybe even be strict that it must be Always Female, that it aligns with feminine traits of light and airiness and with that, dumbness and peaceful-ness so Naruto wouldn't count. Perhaps some Multi-criteria stuff like Statuesque Stunner's
- She must be taller than most men in her setting or stand at least 5'8" (173 cm) tall. Without high heels, usually.
- She must either be considered attractive In-Universe or be accompanied by Fanservice, Beauty, or Attraction Tropes.
Deliberately Bubbly Blonde or something.
- Legally Brunette:
Mina: I thought blondes were supposed to be happy, bubbly and cheerful.

I think it's because of the ban on appearance tropes. But it's been floating around forever. (I kinda wished holds expired since they make discarding stuff impossible)
