And there's more than just LGBT, too. The "Q" covers them. Some people use "LGBT+" instead of "LGBTQ".
Can we call the crowner?
Downvoted. In favor of renaming Gay And Lesbian Fiction to LGBT Fiction, but Queer Media stays and just gets cleaned up.
What would Queer Media be used for?
Can we call it now? we have one option leading by a factor of almost 4.
I think it'd be safe to call it.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessCalled the crowner, a little unclear on what to do with the existing links to Queer Media. Delete or keep?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMy interpretation of the vote is that Queer Media and Gay And Lesbian Fiction are to be merged, with the content and definition of Gay And Lesbian Fiction overtaking Queer Media while retaining the latter name. So most of the wicks for Queer Media should probably be ok.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"How would one go about implementing these changes?
One would copy Gay And Lesbian Fiction's content into Queer Media and then change the links to Gay And Lesbian Fiction so that they point to Queer Media.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI removed The Loud House since Clyde's dads are just side characters, which I don't think counts.
Keet cleanupI saw that Mortal Kombat X is listed as Queer Media. The game has one secondary character who is implied in-game to be gay (though confirmed by Word of God), which I'm fairly certain is not enough to make it "Queer Media".
Removed it for that reason. I'm also not sure The Legend of Korra counts, as the characters are only confirmed queer by a Last-Minute Hookup in the finale. Based on what little I know about The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars, though, I think that comic does qualify.
Keet cleanupBy that same logic, I’m pretty sure Voltron: Legendary Defender doesn't count either. The gay character is only explicitly confirmed in a Last-Minute Hookup (having been revealed by Word of God beforehand). He's also not the main character, just one member of an ensemble.

Adventure Time also has a Last-Minute Hookup, but the couple in question was also heavily hinted at throughout most of the show's run. However, they're also not a major focus, with the main character's heterosexual romances (and his even more numerous adventures that have nothing to do with love) being a much more important aspect than the one lesbian couple.
Agree with all of these. "a focus on LGBT people, themes and relationships" doesn't mean "has a LGBT character in it", it means that these characters and themes related to their identity are the main point of the story.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"In other words, LGBT as a primary element or topic, not as a secondary or tertiary one.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! The Loud House was re-added citing Luna and Sam (which I totally forgot about). That said, Luna is still a secondary character. Are we in agreement for cutting Adventure Time, Korra, The Loud House, and Voltron?
Keet cleanupMotion to Cut.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessNuking those examples.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!I got rid of them, and added a comment saying that not every show with a gay character is Queer Media.
I notice there's also a comment saying that Bara, Yaoi and Yuri examples don't belong here. Why not? I think this should be mentioned in the trope description if this is part of the definition.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"Because yaoi is by women for women/girls, a lot of yuri is aimed at males, and we already have indexes for those.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
Like I said, some people do use queer as an identity, but it's not the only way (or even the most common way) for it to be used. As for why this is a thing, you're asking the wrong person.
I just highly doubt the average person who finds this index would assume we mean "Works only about characters who identify as queer specifically".
