Ditto to the person on the first page who mentioned Game Center CX. I started watching it shortly after quarantine was initiated, and I have never binge-watched a show I've been unfamiliar with at all until I came across it. It's such a fun and addictive watch every single time.
I'm gunna rewatch Brassic and then I'll probably pimp out the page because it is severely lacking.
Please watch it. It's about a group of petty criminals stealing cares and dealing drugs, but I've found it more exciting than sany other crime dramas I've watched. I was laughing, crying, gasping out loud. It really had me on the edge of my seat and I fell in love with all the characters.
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propogandaBeyond Tomorrow was a TV show about future gadgets and science, Computer Chronicles was obscure for The '80s. Back then few owned a home computer. My dad had a TRS-80, our school got some Apple ]['s in 1983. SO viewing that was not mainstream.
Today you can find blogs, Facebook Groups, sub-Reddits and TV shows on any science, gadget or computer related thing you want.
PBS had a scale modeling show, I can't remember the title, sponsored by Finescale Modeler magazine. That was a fun program.
And when it first started, back in '93, Babylon 5 was turbo-geeky. That show was lucky to get some traction. CBS, NBC and some syndicated packages had Sci-Fi shows on the air at the time. PTEN had Time Trax and B5.
By 1995 only B5 had a fan base.
Robotech is another one. Many stations in New Mexico didn't carry it. The UHF station (channel 23) in Albuquerque did, but it "dinna have th' power!" as Scotty would say.
So most of the time I never got to see it. The toys were in stores in the mid-80's but the Transformers, GI Joe and Star Wars were the three juggernauts under the Christmas tree.
Robotech got lost in the shuffle but the VCR and college anime clubs saved it.
My parents and many other students didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned "that Robotech" show.

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48The Hollow. It forces its characters to adapt to high stakes circumstances while their comradely is put to the test.
I wish more people knew Tweeny Witches because it's a good show.
don’t know if this really counts as “obscure”, but I feel like people have forgotten about Galavant. it was so good!!
It’s not about the desti-something, it’s about the whatever.I loved that one. :) XD
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I'm surprised this old thread of mine still gets love.
Please go check out Cartoon Network India's Lamput, it's criminally underrated outside of India and certain other places. It's a dialogueless series about a blob that Escaped from the Lab being chased by scientists. It has short episodes that can still manage some interesting lore developments (Season 3 places a surprising amount of emphasis on the scientists' lab and boss that earlier episodes don't) while retaining the charm of their simplicity. I also gave it a wiki that could use some expansion.
When asked what their first exposure to the concept of racism was, some people would answer The Sneetches or The Land Before Time. I, however, would answer Little Dogs on the Prairie, and most people wouldn’t know what I was talking about!
Little Dogs on the Prairie is a direct-to-video animated Christian series that had three videos released in the year 2000, but there would have been more if it was more successful. The series is about some prairie dogs and a cat who live in an Old West town. The series is very witty, and I strongly recommend it if you’re a fan of stuff like VeggieTales.
A few clips are on YouTube, and all three videos, as well as a soundtrack album, can be purchased from the Fancy Monkey Studios Website. (The soundtrack album is sold digitally in two parts, by the way.)
(Note: When I purchased the episodes, it took a little while to receive the email. Just letting you know so you don’t worry.)

Are we human, or are we dancer?Dinosaucers - OMG that was a weird series. The writing was crap but at least the theme song was kinda fun.
Exo Squad was too cool to last - a Sci-fi cartoon with WWII vibes. Sadly it only got two seasons.

All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48I tried watching an obscure '70s Anglo-German production called Star Maidens recently just for the Narm Charm, and it doesn't disappoint. I mean its view on gender politics- it's been compared to The Two Ronnies "The Worm That Turned" sketches IN SPACE!- is woefully outdated to say the least. as welll as the overall so-'70s-it-hurts trappings. But if you don't take it too seriously...
Birds of Prey; I legit didn't know it existed until last year and it's kind of like a fever dream, but it's not bad.
I don't know if you would really consider Dark (2017) to be obscure, but it's honestly the TV series I watch that the fewest people have heard of.
she/her/they | wall | sandboxLast time I came into the thread it was to say please watch Brassic and this time I'm coming into the thread to say please watch Brassic.
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propogandaI've been rewatching Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, because I absolutely loved it when it was first on. I think it's a shame it doesn't get as much love as some of the other Disney animated series on at the time, because I'd say it's just as good. If you like those series, try it out! I would love to see more people talk about it.

I have a crush on Kirby's sister on the show.

I no longer edit on TV Tropes but will continue as an occasional forum poster.Even though I'm from Texas, I am utterly fascinated by Canadian television, especially stuff from YTV, TV Ontario, & early Citytv. It's just so experimental!
One of them has to be PJ Katie's Farm. Best way I can explain it to non-Canadians is when Luanne first did the Manger Babies on King Of The Hill but more insane.

For every low there is a high.
Ewoks. I really like the first season, because i preferred the character designs and the tone of the stories. The Duloks were also more frequent enemies and child-me thought they were cool.
Also a confession: This was my first exposure to Star Wars.
