For that matter, why doesn't this site allow animated GIFs? It's not a technical restriction, since True Art Is Incomprehensible is an allowed exception.

It was the official stance with the previous admin that moving page pics were an eyesore that drew attention from the page content, which I agree with. I'd be tentatively okay with allowing GIFs that you had to click to activate, but that's a tech issue the new admins would have to deal with.

I'm not sure the Time Wizard image we have is the best example, as he's just floating there. I think we should show a character using time magic in action.
