1.1 = 1.3 = 1.6 > the others
If I had to choose, I’d go with 1.1.

1.1 is my favorite of all of those.
Mine too.
1.1.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."1.10 is not bad.
I also like 1.1.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.1.1.
(Annoyed grunt)I like 1.10. And maybe a few others.
Check out my fanfiction!time for a crowner?

Since crowners are broken at present, I'm gonna try something. We're currently sitting at 6 definite votes for 1.1 and 2 for 1.10. Starting now and running through Friday (unless something gets a commanding lead before then), please post a for the options in the OP that you like and a for any that you're solidly against; any you're neutral on can be ignored.
1.11 because to me it looks like soldiers coming out of cover there, not this trope. to 1.1 - 1.4 and 1.7 - 1.9. to the current as well owing to poor quality.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman1.1, 1.10.

1.1
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Calling the poll for 1.1; most of the other suggestions, including the one that was just put on the page without discussion, have been put on the Image Links page. I also moved the page quote to the caption since they're from the same source. Locking up.

Current isn't bad but I think we can do better. D-day is iconic so let's look at those first:
Saving Private Ryan:
Callof Duty 2
Call of Duty: World at War
and of course Real Life is full of iconic images of the things which inspired the above media
an Artist's rendition of a Pacific campaign landing
and for something that isn't WW 2 flavored, Rogue One
