Neural Cloud's pre-registration is up
My sort of review from last year still applies for the most part.
- It's very much a side game. Stamina is a bit limited, but stamina-restoring items are rather common and doesn't expire like some other games, though there's a hard cap on how much you can have. Dailies can be completed in around 10 minutes or so.
- There's a game mode called Failure Protocol which challenges you to clear stages using a limited selection of Dolls, not unlike Coalition Drills. It resets weekly and provides a good chunk of premium currency.
- The story is a good post-cyberpunk tale about existentialist robots. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of the more sci-fi aspects of the original Girls' Frontline.
- Gacha feels decent-ish. You have soft pity (guaranteed 3-star) at 60 rolls and hard pity (guaranteed banner Doll) at 180. With the pace of new characters being introduced (~1 per month), I never felt pressured to roll the instant they appear.
- Skins are paid-only, however, similar to Counter Side. However, the CN version had an update where you can get special tokens to be exchanged for skins.
- Big events come every three months or so. They feature an extensive story (though not as long as current GFL events), introduce new gameplay mechanics, and usually include fun minigames too. New character releases are accompanied with their own mini-event, which tells more of their backstory.
EDIT: Going by the Discord, it seems the PNC EN staff shared the official website too early. Whoops.
EDIT 2: It's officially up now!

Lovepilled and HopemaxxingOn a scale of 1 to 10, how mad are you about RPK-16 defecting to Paradeus and getting AK-15, AN-94, and Light killed?
Also on a scale of 1 to Soppo, how mad are you about Morridow offing our dear friend Machlian?
"There's no such thing as pure freedom in this world. Even the wind cannot blow forever."10 for the death of Machlian after she's killed by her younger sister Morridow. I wonder if AR-15 and Ange will feel bad that she wasn't faking it and really wasn't Morridow all along.
As for RPK-16, there are some fans that are speculating that she's actually a double agent and is pretending to defect to Paradeus.
Well it finally happened on Girls Frontline.
Stg-44, who was previously voiced by Ai Kayano, will now be voiced by Saho Shirasu.
Sad that it finally happened. :(
Wait. What happened to cause a VA change?
Edit: Never mind. I found out.

Help me. I can't get it out of my head.As part of Girls' Frontline: Neural Cloud's 1st anniversary, we have an old friend joining the playable roster!
Lovepilled and HopemaxxingThat's sad to hear since Ump 45 was confirmed to be back for Girls Frontline 2.
Who's ready for the Fixed Point event?
"There's no such thing as pure freedom in this world. Even the wind cannot blow forever."My opinion on the Fixed Point event.
I always thought William was some old evil scientist but this event reveals he's actually young or a teenager whose a genius with good connections with the East German government (thanks to his father) who has both a sister and mother complex since he has two of his followers play the role of his family during dinner. I felt mad that despite the sacrifices the rescue team made to rescue Ange, Ange choose to stay as a prisoner in some plan to stop Paradeus. Also, Griffin, our other boss, is a Manipulative Bastard who would rather have William under his control rather than stop him.
Griffin being a ruthless globalist who couldn't care less about the well-being of his underlings is a great revelation. Not only it reframes our actions up to this point (imagine accidentally working for the Illuminati lmao), it also sets him up as a foil to our other boss, Mr. Kryuger, whose compassion towards his subordinates is what drove him to create G&K in the first place.
MDR speaks English with the help of ElevenAI.
Heads up. Girls Frontline crossover with Zombie Land Saga will be coming to the English server.
MICA held the 7th CN anniversary stream yesterday and gave out lots of info, including the latest look on Girls' Frontline 2 and Reverse Collapse (demo will be on June's Steam Next Fest!)
I really, really like the idea of intricate weapon customization in GFL2. Not only because i like staring at spreadsheets tinkering with guns is appealing to me, but also because it puts extra emphasis on the firearms, tying back to the Girls with Guns concept that GFL is known for.
They also announced their next crossover with Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045. Since i haven't keep up to date with the franchise, i wonder who will appear in G.F. since the only heroic Action Girl that isn't a villian that i know of in the series is Major Motoko Kusanagi.

Now that the Zombie Land Saga collab has passed, how does everyone feel about their new idol units? I personally think their gimmick is kind of neat and works well in many situations (except against the goddamn Typhons).
"There's no such thing as pure freedom in this world. Even the wind cannot blow forever."I'm not sure since i haven't tested them since i was busy trying to get all of them and get enough event points to buy everything in the store. As for the story, i wonder why the game never reveals how the Franchouchou group came to the Gfl universe, only hinting the Commander found a way home before saying goodbye to them.
PS: For some reason the Zombie girls alternative costumes weren't available to buy in the store while the regular costumes were(last time I was smart enough to save enough gems to buy all of the Gunslinger Girls costumes before that event started). And some of the mini games were just hard to do like the dancing and singing mini games. Thankfully you still clear the stage and get points even if you lose.
No, the alternative costumes were available; they were in packages outside the event section of the shop. And they costed actual money, so it wouldn't matter how many gems you saved.
"There's no such thing as pure freedom in this world. Even the wind cannot blow forever."So I just completed the Eclipse & Saros event which introduces SCAR-L and SCAR-H, two T-Doll veterans from WW3.
At first i was wondering why SCAR-L acts like an uncaring jerk to her new teamates and wants to kill SCAR-H for being a "deserter". Then came The Reveal she's only acting like that to get herself kill since she regrets killing her old teamates when her human commanding officer activated a program that made her kill her team when their last mission when Snafu and refused to provide air support. It was interesting to learn Paradeus was around during WW3 since SCAR-L and SCAR-H fought them before.
PS: The Stasi must really want SCAR-H since not only did they help her get a newer body but allowed her to get her revenge against SCAR-L.
Public test demo for Reverse Collapse Code Name Bakery will be out today on Steam and will last for over a week.
I knew there was gonna be a cameo for the T-Dolls, i just never expected it was Idw, M500 and M82.
Anyway, here's a Let's Play of the Reverse Collapse demo by Mr Falcon.
So there's a Close Beta Test for Girls Frontline 2 and someone manage to upload all of the characters currently available to use in this version of the game which includes some from the 1st game.
Guys, I need help from people with knowledge of this game to answer this Trope Finder query, specifically those who know the lore of Longitudinal Strain.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Today is the start of CN Open Beta for Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium!
...Which constantly hardlocks on my PC and takes too much space on my smartphone.
I'm happy to report that the performance is surprisingly smooth, however. Even my budget phone with Unisoc Tiger T618 achieved 30 FPS on default settings (though with some stuttering).
Lovepilled and Hopemaxxing
In related news, the game will get a new update next week which changes many things like you can do all combat simulations types everyday, make individual backgrounds for your assistants and faster loading times.
